The 2019 TCS New York City Marathon will take place Sunday, November 3, 2019. The time window to apply to the drawing or claim guaranteed entry to the TCS Marathon will be January 14 to February 14, 2019, followed by an event drawing on February 27, 2019.

This event is part of our 9+1 program for 2018. Runners who finish the race, or volunteer, will receive credit in this calendar year toward the 2019 TCS New York City Marathon. 3 friends started this as a way to train for the 2016 NYC marathon and just run with other people and chat, and then everyone had very different times they wanted to run so tried a group format. The full is coming up in November, and we are going to make regular runs a thing again. Tuesday July 3rd let's run! And then following Tuesday's as well. The next few weekends are busy for us, but would like to get a regular longer weekend run going as well. Here’s to a great race day! Have fun out there. An epic run with 50,000 friendly neighbors from around the world. Also pretty wild that the current course record is 2 hours 5 minutes and six seconds. Maybe if you hug those turns. . .

Happy Halloween! We can't wait to cheer the race this Sunday. If you can attend sidelines and cheer the runners the NYC Marathon has the best crowd and there are only a couple quiet spots on the course besides the bridges. South Williamsburg and a tiny stretch of the Bronx. The rest of course is nice and loud and the cheering really keeps the runners energy up! If they have their name on their shirt shout it out !
