Dance Families...
For anyone that did not get the yearly calendar at registration or by email, the first day of dance at Studio 6 is Sunday, August 30 for Competition Students and Advanced Dancers and will continue through that week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for classes on each of those days. Deb has been having a frustating time with the new e-mail and has been receiving notices that emails have been sent from the system but only about 23 families have responded to say they received anything. We will contact the accounting system techs again tomorrow to try to work the kinks out again. Cross your fingers that tomorrow will be a less frustrating day! For those that have not received an email from the new gmail account, we are again loading this years dance families into the yahoo system and will send out another email directly from there. Be patient, new can be frustrating, but in the end will be better!

It’s the final week to get tickets to the DWTS - Cedar Rapids show this Saturday, July 25th at the Czech and Slovak Museum 😍

A view of what the evening will look like:
6:00 pm — Doors open for VIP Guests
6:00 - 7:00 pm — Red carpet entrance, get a photo with your star 😉 food and drinks out to enjoy
7:00 pm — Show begins 😍
Attendees will vote at the show for the dancer of their choice. A little surprise — ONE audience member will be randomly selected at the beginning of the night to be a guest judge for the show 😁

After all the votes are tallied up, they will announce the winner, followed by an after party and celebration (at the museum, but location could be changed)

For those wondering, there are no assigned seats. Each table seats 8 people and are assigned to the dancer, if you have people coming later, you are welcome to save them a seat. Thank you to everyone for all the support, it is going to be such a fun evening 🤩🤩

The show consists of 10 other local leaders who work for or are apart of another nonprofit organization in Iowa. The best part of this competition is the winner gets to donate all the money raised to the organization of their choice.

Results are 50% judges scores and 50% audience member votes! So get your family and friends together for a night of entertainment, inspiration, and impact. 💫💫
