Meet 🎉✨McKenzie✨🎉!!!

McKenzie has been a superstar on our Studio Coordinator team for the past year and a half. This summer, she returned from a semester in Italy eager to jump into teacher training! We are so excited for her to grow into this new role, and for you all to be part of her teaching journey.

McKenzie has already started co-teaching sections of class, so you’ll see her on the mic soon! Say hi next time you see her in the studio, and drop a 🎉 in the comments to celebrate McKenzie!!

Attention new parents! Looking for a place to move your body and meet other new parents? We’re adding a second Bring Your Baby class to our weekly schedule!

✨You can now take our Bring Your Baby class on Tuesdays AND Thursdays at 10:30am!✨

🗓 Tuesday & Thursday mornings
⏰ 10:30am | Bar Method Express
🔗 Link in bio to visit our schedule and sign up

In this format, you’ll take a standard Bar Method Express class with your baby in the room, with the option to wear your baby for sections of class. These classes are a fun, supportive, and safe space for you to work out in community with other parents!

Here’s what else you need to know:
🐣 This class is ideal for babies that are not yet crawling.
🐣 Please bring a small blanket for the baby to lie on (we also have towels available to borrow). You may bring a removable bassinet or a baby bouncer into the studio—we just ask that your stroller remain in our lobby.
🐣 If you’d like to wear your baby for some of class, bring a safe, secure, and comfortable carrier. Baby wearing is optional!
🐣 Take this class at your own pace—if you need to pause to nurse, change a diaper, or just rest, no problem!

For 25 years, our Method has helped build the strength to take on vacations, adventures, celebrations, and everything in between.

25 years of proven results and they’re measured in more ways than one: In confidence you didn’t know you had. In finding relief from pain that once held you back. In having something that keeps you focused, grounded, and true to yourself through every phase of life.

Because your strongest results are the ones you carry with you through life.

How has The Bar Method made you stronger? Tell us in the comments. ✨

Today marks 25 years of The Bar Method. 🎉 Thank you for choosing our studio, cheering each other on, and showing up for yourselves and this community every single day. We're so grateful you're part of this milestone. 💖

We asked members, teachers, and studio owners how The Bar Method has changed their lives and their answers are a reminder that the results of a barre workout can reach far beyond what you see in the mirror.

Feeling stronger in everyday life. Lifting your kids. Returning to movement after injury. Building confidence. Finding a community that keeps you coming back.

25 years later, this is what proven results look like. 💪🏻

2001. Five teachers. One barre in San Francisco. 🤍

Burr believed a workout could be tough and kind to your body — that you could shake, burn, and walk out feeling taller than when you came in. 25 years later, that first count of eight still echoes in every studio. This is where it began.
