The transition is the exercise.
Last month, I asked you all:
what’s one thing you wish fitness culture understood better about bodies?
The responses were soooo good. So many of you said some version of the same thing: that you are tired of being made to feel like you are not doing it ‘right’ unless you are maxed out, wrecked, or hitting PRs.
Your body does not need to be fighting for its life every time you move. Sometimes movement is slow. Sometimes it is fast, breathy, and chaotic.
Sometimes it is quiet and controlled. All of it counts.
How you move through the in-betweens of workouts or life matters.
Through it all, I’m thinking about staying consistent over intensity. I invite you to do the same.
If you are going through a transition right now, how are you applying the concept of consistency vs intensity? Tell me about it below!
