Today the 88 ran the Sr. Champ LO206 biggest money race of the season offered by Pomfret Speedway. During practice he decided to switch the clutch, to see if it would fare better than the last one in a long duration race. He was happy with the switch, but he didn’t time trial that great. He started the feature in the 15th position out of 22 karts. Feature started and there were a few quick cautions, all of which Kyle was able to skirt by unscathed. After the second caution, the field was lined up single file to try and avoid the wrecks, and some don’t know what single file means. Some think that single file means to go three wide in turn three well before the restart zone and pass while still under caution…. And of course it was allowed and the green flag flew. Cost Kyle two positions as he wasnt prepared for karts to be thrown three wide under caution, when it should have been single file. Needless to say, he gained some ground and he ended up finishing the feature in the 13th position. (Out of 22) Thank you to Kaitlyn Gada for all of her effort in getting this race off the ground. We appreciate you! We also appreciate all of our sponsors who stick by Kyle even when the wins are hard to come by. Next up, Labor Day Shootout.
