Extra Bases Baseball Camp is back this summer!
Extra Bases is a baseball+STEM camp, designed for rising 3rd-5th graders, with baseball-related math and science (think measuring each player's strike zone, finding the optimal path to run bases, measuring throwing accuracy, etc.) paired with skill work and scrimmages that you would find in a typical baseball camp. All levels of skill are welcome, as the kids will have lots of opportunities to focus on the baseball or academic side as they go through the week. I'll be running the camp personally, with some extra help from counselors-in-training.
The camp will be held at Field 6 in Prospect Park's Long Meadow from 9AM to 3PM (courtesy drop-off will be available at 845AM). Campers can expect a morning full of learning baseball and math skills, a lunch break, and then a light scrimmage and an epic game of "Extra Bases Pickle" in the afternoon. Campers should bring a school bag, lunch, a refillable water bottle, comfortable clothes/sneakers, and a glove if they own one. All other materials/equipment will be provided by us. Camp will be held rain or shine.
Here are the dates and fees for 2023:
June 28-June 30 ($300)
July 5-7 ($300)
July 10-14 ($500)
