A favorite time of year for a very special PBA event as we remember Tony Reyes and Terry Leong - 2 incredible competitors and great guys.
The 2026 PBA Tony Reyes PBA50 Terry Leong Over Under Doubles event wrapped up today at 4th Street Bowl in San Jose.
The team of Josh Blanchard and David Leverage were able to seal the victory with a mark in the 10th. Like everyone says - the best mark is a strike - and there was no doubt - Josh did what Josh does - pure and flush! Congrats Gentlemen.
This is Leverage's 12th overall title and his second Tony Reyes/Terry Leong title winning back in 2021 with another Arizonian - Matt Zweig.
This is Blanchard's 17th PBA Regional title and his first title here in San Jose. Blanchard is on fire as he just won the 2026 NW Dave Husted Open in Milwaukie OR 2 weeks ago.
The team of Nick Borgaro and Shawn Horenberger, all the way from Idaho, made a valiant run from the 4th seed in the stepladder after an 0-4 start in match play this morning.
The 2-time defending champions, Robby Porter and Brandon Kring made a run for a 3peat but fell short in the semi final match. Great team chemistry and great run the last 3 years. 1st 1st 3rd.
The father/son team of Carson Ferreira and Cris Ferreira made the biggest move of the day from 10th to 3rd with a 10-2 match play record - running into a buzzsaw the first Stepladder match when Borgaro/Horenberger shot 268 at them.
As usual thanks to PBA player and Host extraordinaire, Lindsey Wong, for his incredible work on this event - from the sponsorships to the raffles and the silent auction. Money raised helps fund the Tony Reyes Scholarship fund for the Juniors.
Thanks to the proprietors: the Nakatsu family and the staff at Fourth Street Bowl was fantastic as always - thanks to Kenny, Steve, John, Frank, Jamo, Danny, Thomas, Bear and all the others!
Trophies were presented by Tony's Mom Jessica and Terry's family, Kimberly, Justin, Ezra, Chloe. Great to see all of them.
