Wind were light and variable but we managed to get off a good race with spinnakers on every leg. Thanks to our members organized Fleet Captain racing program we have education and fun on and off the docks. Best program in NYC. We are passionate about sailing and love to share. Good luck and fairwinds to all the Around Long Island Race (ALIR) competitors. It's great to see this event grow - it's a classic race. We'll be watching the start from Brooklyn Bridge Marina (book on dockwa) just on the other side of Liberty State Park.

Breaking away from the hot sticky land. Enjoying an evening sunset cruise in NY Harbor with a FC cruise. At least 10 to 15 degrees cooler on the water. Add the Statute of Liberty and Governor's Island in the background and you have the perfect end of day activity.
