Here's a cool fact: whole grains help you feel full longer because they're packed with fiber, which not only slows down digestion but also help to keep us "regular" and maintain a healthy gut.

This natural effect of feeling full (as with all fibrous foods) can help with managing appetite and energy levels throughout the day.

It amazes me to see how nature designed these tiny powerhouses that are so nutritious and keeps us satiated at the same time 🌾

Here in North America the temperatures are rising, how do you creatively stay hydrated? For those of you that live in warmer climates how do you stay hydrated?

Hydration is by no means seasonal; however, in the warmer months it's easier to become dehydrated as the body expels a lot of water in the form of perspiration to help keep us cool; which is also why one should stay hydrated when working out.

Do you keep a filled reusable water bottle in sight, have scheduled water timers, or add flavorings to your water? Maybe you add a mint leaf, maybe you just drink up as is. Or maybe its straight up coconut water. Water-rich foods such as fresh fruits and veggies count towards hydration as well.

Hydration is key as our bodies need the water to maintain proper body functions, including the transport of oxygen to our cells.

Let's focus on staying hydrated.

Regular exercise is not only good for heart health but can also help with digestion and constipation as well. Yup you read that correctly.

Engaging in physical activities stimulate your intestines which triggers natural movements such as contractions. These intestinal contractions help with digestion and supports regular bowel movements.

Even simple exercises like walking or yoga can make a big difference in maintaining digestive balance! Have you ever taken a quick walk to "walk off the food" because you overate? That walk helped your digestion process.🏃‍♂️🧘‍♀️
