Pass, Play, Score! ⚽️

Kick your skills up a notch with a fun-filled soccer program where players can build skills, gain confidence, and put what they learn into action with small-team games! All ability levels are welcome, and no previous experience is needed. A soccer shirt is included, and participants are required to wear shin guards.

Who: Ages 4–11
What: 5-week Soccer Program
Where: Centennial Park Soccer Fields, 6301 Shingle Creek Pkwy. (South Parking Lot)
When: Mondays, September 14–October 12
Ages 4–5: 5:30–6:25 p.m.
Ages 6–7: 5:30–6:25 p.m.
Ages 8–9: 6:30–7:25 p.m.
Ages 10–11: 6:30–7:25 p.m.
Cost: $30/$35

Parent volunteers are needed to assist with games. Luther Auto Scholarships are available for children on free/reduced lunch or with demonstrated financial need. Registration deadline: September 7.

Celebrate German-style food, music, and fun at the 7th Annual Oktoberfest Celebration at Edinburgh Golf Course!

Enjoy a delicious lunch buffet, live polka and Oktoberfest music from “Squeezy” Wes Miller and Lost in Deutschland, plus plenty of opportunities to dance or sit back and enjoy the show.

Discover a new favorite sport and learn about others! Each week brings a different sport, giving kids the chance to learn and practice basic skills while having fun and staying active. It’s the perfect introduction to the world of athletics!

What: Sports Sampler featuring a variety of sports

🚌🍂 Take a scenic fall getaway with Community Tripsters!

Spend the day along the beautiful Mississippi River with the Winona Cruise trip on October 7! Start with a delicious lunch at Kelly’s Lake House overlooking scenic Lake Pepin, then board the Winona Tour Boat for a narrated cruise led by a USCG licensed captain.

Keep your eyes out for eagles, deer, turtles, and beavers while taking in the fall scenery from the climate-controlled cabin.

The Back to School Event was a great success!

We welcomed 700 community members who came out to enjoy the event, connect with local organizations, and get ready for the upcoming school year. A total of 573 backpacks were distributed to students.

We had a fantastic turnout of vendors and community partners who helped make the event possible. A big thank you to our generous donors: PCL Construction, JonnyPops, Hennepin County Government, and Brooklyn Center Community Schools.

Thank you to all of our vendors, partners, volunteers, and staff who helped create a fun and successful event for our community. We’re grateful for everyone who came out and helped us kick off the school year on a positive note!
