Together, the 2026 Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge team raised nearly $10.1M, a record-breaking amount for the Claudia Adams Barr Program in Innovative Basic Cancer Research, making this the highest fundraising total in DFMC’s 37-year history. Way to go!

You surpassed our goal of $8.75 million by more than $1.2M, an incredible reflection of this community’s passion, dedication, and commitment to defying cancer. Thank you for being part of something so powerful. Give yourselves and your teammates a huge round of applause! 👏

“Cancer has affected my family more than once. My older brother, Tommy, is a two-time leukemia survivor who was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in 2012 and underwent a bone marrow transplant. My older sister, Lauren, was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma in December 2025 and received treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Being alongside her through that experience showed me just how strong she is, and how incredible the care at Dana-Farber is. Running the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge truly feels like something I’m meant to do.”
