🐴 RIDER SPOTLIGHT: Lilly Haddock 🐴

Meet Lilly and her partner, Bart—show name Mixed by the Bartender! 🥕🍬

🐎 MEET THE RIDER & HORSE

* Bart is a Quarter Horse who loves peppermints and carrots!
* He’s an anxious puppy dog at heart.
* When he’s excited or curious, he does A LOT of snorting! 😂
* And no, Lilly didn’t choose his show name!

🏆 RIDING LIFE & GOALS
Lilly’s passion is Dressage, and at just 4 years old, she’s already building an incredible partnership with Bart.

“I love that I can build trust with an animal I can’t communicate verbally with.”

One of her favorite memories is going to BCHA with Gigi and doing the Halloween contest. 🎃

Her biggest goal? Trust—and getting Bart to back up!

And yes, that charm really does have Gigi’s hair in it! ❤️

When asked about her favorite coach, Lilly didn’t hesitate:

An little impromptu evening with the barn family to celebrate the efforts taken during the evacuation, we are so grateful and so proud of all our people, and of every helping hand that we were blessed with. 🫶☺️
And during that time we were gifted with a beautiful set of standards/ cavallettis from our dear friend Wayne Lumpkin who graciously built these for our riding program. Thank you so much Wayne theyre a beautiful gift to celebrate our return home and getting back to normal👏❤️.

Update 9:40 AM, Saturday, July 25, 3026: GFC is reporting the fire reduced to 389 acres; 75% contained. No homes lost or damaged. GFC ground and air resources on site today as higher chance of rain moves in. Citizens are asked to avoid the area.

Update 8:00 PM, Friday, July 24, 2026: Bulloch Country Fire is reporting that the fire has been contained. Bulloch Fire units will be leaving the scene and Georgia Forestry units will remain on site for now. Citizens are safe to return to their homes. The temporary shelter located at Brooklet Community Church on Lane Street in Brooklet, GA has been closed.

Update: 7:00 PM, Friday, July 24, 2026: Rick Lane, Georgia Forestry Commission Region 4 Fire Management Official is reporting that they have made great progresson battling the wildfire and estimates to be at 75% containment. Fire crews will continue to work the fire throughout the evening.

Bulloch VOAD/Bulloch Strong is prepared to assist with anyone who would like to voluntarily evacuate their home and has no place to go. Email Ryan Heins at [email protected] if you need immediate shelter or other assistance.

WE ARE HOME!! Everyone has been safely transported home and we are so grateful to Evermore Farms Brooklet, GA for helping us trailer all our horses back safely. We also want to extend a massive thank you to the Bulloch County Agricultural Complex for hosting us with such grace and compassion and care. Our horses were comfortable and happy throughout their stay. Thank you again to all the volunteers that made this experience survivable, we couldnt have managed this without our dedicated barn family and the kindness of our volunteers. The next few days we will be monitoring all the horses closely to ensure they’re settling back in okay🫶 thank you for all the prayers and well wishes❤️❤️

Good morning, everyone!

I want to start by saying that everyone at Trot Time Farms is truly grateful for our community, neighbors, and friends. Your kindness, support, and willingness to step up during a time of need have reminded us that there are still some truly amazing people in this world.

Without each and every one of you, we could not have done it. Your generosity, encouragement, and prayers have meant more than words can express.

Psalm 133:1 says:
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”

This beautiful verse reminds us of the blessings that come when a community stands together in harmony, supports one another, and shares in both the burdens and the victories.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who helped in any way, sent messages, texted, called, checked on us, or lifted us up in prayer. Your love and support will never be forgotten.

We are beyond thankful to be part of such an incredible community.
