People..people..people..
this is a YUUUGGEEE Public Service Announcement. A PSA if you will...
When you order a firearm, a lower reciever or anything that is regulated by the ATF...
YOU, THE BUYER, PURCHASER, THE ONE WHO ORDERED THE ITEM IN QUESTION.. does not matter if it's in person or ONLINE...
MUST complete a ATF FORM 4473 which is a FIREARM TRANSACTION RECORD FORM. This is required by LAW. Google it if you cannot comprehend what I am typing!
There are no shortcuts! The form has to be completed and the person must pass a federal background check or have a VALID Weapons Carry License BEFORE I can release or give you the firearm or lower reciever. If you cannot pass a federal background check, I can NOT give you the firearm or receiver. It's the LAW!!
And yes! I charge for this form, my time, all the paperwork I have to do, the background check I must perform, printing and storing your identification (drivers license, military ID, Weapons Carry License) the entering and existing of my logbook logs, so yes! I do charge a fee of $45.
If that is a problem for you, PLEASE do not order s**t online and have it shipped to MY place of business.
This is the 5th time a random person has ordered a firearm or a lower reciever for black friday or Christmas or whatever and selected my place of business as the shipping destination. All items ordered online must be shipped to a Federal Firearm License Holder. But you still HAVE to fill out the 4473 Form regardless of in person or online purchase.
I have caught some nasty customers recently because they assumed that just because they ordered it from PSA, Daniel Defense, Buds Gun Shop, or wherever...that once they paid for the item that it will come to them and that's it. No..that isn't how it works. So please, save your hate and bitterness for someone else.
Thank you and have a great day!
The photo below is that of the 4473 form that is required by law.. if you do not understand anything I have addressed in this post, please Google "ATF Form 4473, firearm transaction form or how to purchase a firearm." If you cannot do that.. go ask someone who actually understands the process of buying a firearm. Because I do not have enough crayons to explain this again.
