In the world of trap shooting, people know…

But most people don’t know the kind of dedication that is required to reach the level of these student trap shooters!

After the school season was officially over at the end of May, 10 Brookland bearcat Trap Team members continue to practice weekly and attend optional tournaments over the summer. They were preparing for the AIM Grand national trap tournament in Sparta Illinois.  This multi day tournament is attended by championship shooters from all over the country, and even some from other countries.

Brookland shooters competed in multiple events in two different age categories: Jr (15-17yo) and SubJr (12-14yo) in squads of 5 shooters each.

Each squad finished the championship rounds as the national runner-up in each of their respective categories. Max Counts also finished individually as runner-up for singles competition in his category.

Way to go Bearcats!
