Bucking directly into the wind and waves with the 6hp outboard, a bit more splashing at the front, but otherwise no problem!

Checking out this rough walk-in landing, there'd be no chance of launching a full size boat here, but no problem for the UOV!
The wind was far stronger in this area, so that was more interesting.

This part of the lake was surprisingly calm for having 20mph winds! As you can see, the UOV is quite stable in the water.

Entering another lake, this time with winds at 20mph or higher and gusts over 29mph. This ramp is shielded by trees, so wind & waves were somewhat blocked. Let's see how the UOV handles it!

First person coming out of the water!

I float in with the outboard motor or trolling motor until the tracks touch bottom, then I stow the trolling motor & raise outboard motor, then fire up the UOV engine and drive out.
