Halloween is approaching and it’s time to let your creativity run wild! We are thrilled to announce our first ever No Carve Pumpkin Decorating event.

Join us for a fun afternoon of pumpkin decorating. We will provide the pumpkins, paint and brushes – you need to bring your imagination and be sure to wear something that you can get paint on or a smock– just in case!

Job Opportunity: Part-Time Weekend Range Attendant

Delaware County Field & Stream Association seeks a part-time employee to support weekend trap, s***t, and 5-stand operations. Hours are flexible but generally cover Saturdays, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., and Sundays, noon–4:00 p.m. Compensation is $12 per hour, paid every two weeks.

Responsibilities

· Monitor range activity, confirm that shooters submit required tickets, collect tickets about hourly, and deliver them to the office at day’s end.
· Check trap and s***t houses and keep machines stocked with clay targets.
· Use the Gator to move target boxes from storage to the trap and s***t houses.
· Refill the fourteen 5-stand machines with clay targets at the end of the day.
· Break down and recycle empty boxes; empty trash cans at the beginning and end of the day.
· Sweep broken targets near s***t stations 1 and 7 and help range officers open or close the ranges as needed.

Requirements and Work Environment

The position requires lifting and moving approximately 38-pound boxes of clay targets, including carrying boxes upstairs to the s***t high houses. The work can be physically demanding in hot weather. Between assignments, the employee may remain in the heated or cooled Ed Martin House or clubhouse.

NOTE: You do not need to be a member to work this, however a current drivers license is required

2026 General Membership Meeting and Nominations
for the 2027 Officers.

Date: Wednesday, October 14, 2026
Location: Main Club House
Starting Time: 7:00pm (arrive in time to sign in)


As current members in good standing, you are invited and encouraged to participate in this annual event. Several important topics are planned as covered in the agenda below.

To participate, you will need to wear your Club ID and will be required to sign in at the door.
We will start promptly at 7:00 pm. To proceed with this meeting, we will need a quorum of 25 members in attendance.

Doors will be CLOSED at 7:00 pm so please plan to arrive early to sign in.

· Miscellaneous Topics
· Nominating Committee Report
· Nominations from the floor for the 2027 Board of Director Positions (Election day is 11/4/26).


Nomination Process:

Any Adult Member, Senior Member, Limited Member or Gold Card Member, when duly seconded by another qualified Member, may put forward a nominee for election to a board position.

The nominee must be present at this meeting to accept the nomination and be prepared to validate their identity with picture ID.

Note: Qualifications for All elected positions include being either an Adult Member, Senior Member, Limited Member or Gold Card Member in good standing and the nominee must be a current Range Officer.


The list of all nominees will be communicated via the club's email platform and will be posted in the clubhouse prior to the November 4th election.

Attendees will be allowed to make a public comment or pose a question to the current Board of Directors. (Please limited comments/ discussions to 3 minutes.)

S***T CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP: Saturday 10/31/26

TIME: Registrations will begin at 0900 and the event will start at 1000.

FORMAT: The competition will consist of 50 shots total, any gauge sh***un. The first round will be 25 shots at normal s***t, including the normal “option” shot. The 2nd round will be 24 shots of doubles. Starting at station 1 proceeding to station 7 and returning to station 2. (24 shots), the 25th shot will be at station 8, low house. The winner will be the person with the highest total score. Tie breakers will be offered with doubles at 3,4, and 5 in the normal manner.
