Outdoor enthusiasts and beer garden fans, your new favorite happy hour is here! 🦇🍻

Join Wisconsin Master Naturalist Caroline Frantz for an evening of science and exploration at The Tap Yard Beer Gardens or Retzer Nature Center! Bats & Brews is a special program hosted on select dates throughout the summer. Come unwind with your favorite drink on tap, and learn about the intriguing world of bats and their important role in our ecosystem. All ages welcome; children must be with an adult.

The warmer weather means the start of beer garden season, and this summer, North Pillar Brewing Co. is bringing a traveling beer garden to Mukwonago Park and Muskego Park on select dates! 🍻🌳

☀️🏖️ Beach season is here! Waukesha County Parks' beaches are officially open for the season. You can enjoy the sun and sand at:

• Menomonee Park
• Minooka Park
• Mukwonago Park

• Naga-Waukee Park

Access to our beaches is included with an Annual Membership or Daily Permit! Get yours today and make the most out of your summer!

UPDATE (5/1) - Due to colder than average temperatures, The Tap Yard Beer Gardens will remain closed Friday, May 1. The beer gardens will open for the season Saturday, May 2.

4/22-Barker Rd and North Ave are fully open as of yesterday morning (4/21). Only local road closure is River Rd.

Fox Brook Park access update (4/16)

The park is open, but due to flooding, only one route is accessible. Please enter only from the south through Springdale Rd → North Ave → Barker Road → Fox Brook Park.

Barricades at the roundabout on Barker indicate the road is closed in both directions, but the park can still be accessed through the entrance north of the roundabout. Please exercise caution when driving through these areas and avoid any flooded roads.
