FAQ: What makes the program different from what son or daughter already get with their teams?
Answer: This program is an opportunity for young athletes to build their athletic abilities to enhance the skills they are learning with their sport coaches.

Now we have a question for you....what are you waiting for? Don't let your kids miss out!

Appreciation/congratulation post!
This post was supposed to happen last Wednesday but life happens.

This is Taylor. Everyone say Hi Taylor……thank you. (Say it in the comments)

Taylor has been training with me for a year now. Thank you putting up with my nonsense for that long. Sessions are filled with good lifting and high quality conversation (shoutout Carl and Carly)!

I wanted to write a dope caption like kids do. Something like “Time to make the donuts” or “You never get the flower while you can still smell’em” but I’m going to stick with what I know.

I’ve left my coaching position in Ridgefield and starting a new role at the Regional Y in Brookfield.

It’s been a great 3 years and I’ve learned a ton and met an incredible amount of awesome people. It’s time for me to take the next step in life and my career. I’m excited for what this new opportunity has in store for me. The only thing left to do is get after it!

Norway for the win!

When it comes to athlete development, Norway is doing it better than anyone else. They take this so seriously they have a “Children’s Rights in Sports”. They encourage all children to play as many sports as possible and will still encourage multiple sports even after a child decides to specialize.

One more time for the people in the back:
MULTIPLE👏🏼SPORT👏🏼ATHLETES👏🏼ARE👏🏼ALWAYS👏🏼BETTER👏🏼

Thank you Norway for your commitment to athlete development and your superb fashion!

Honored to be able to drop in on a Saturday to do a mega dryland circuit for Western Connecticut Swimming & Diving!

Reminds be of the days running Saturday morning boot camps with legend, friend and mentor Mark Fletter. The good old days!

Everyone worked their tales off and it was awesome too see. It makes me miss the team setting!

Honesty time. As an athlete, if you are training body part splits it is the wrong call.

You are an athlete. You never use any muscle group in isolation, so why train that way? Unless you are a body builder, different story.

If you claim to be an athlete train like one and train movement patterns.

Beside being great for overall athletic development, playing multiple sports is also great for injury reduction.

Check out the links in the bio to see two studies conducted in the past 2 year which show the benefits of being a multi sport athlete.

Yes I have a linktree, yes I am cool.

Today I am announcing my resignation as head strength and conditioning coach at Fairfield Warde High School.

Over the last three years we’ve made strides in commitment to the weight room, layout of the weight room, team buy-in to the weight room and overall lifting technique. I’ve grown as a person and as a coach working with all of you.

I want to thank the athletes, students, coaches and staff that came into the weight room and trusted me with their exercise programs, athletes and looking for my advice. I’ll be watching all teams this year and wishing them luck.

This wasn’t an easy decision, but I have to do what is best for my family and career. Thank you Warde!
