🥊 FLOYD, YOU NEVER GIVEN ME A REVENGE.

The whole world wanted it. The fans were clamoring for it. I was ready.

We had a contract. A rematch clause. One year to activate it.

And what did Floyd do?

He retired. Just like that. “I'll never step back into the ring.”

One year and ONE DAY later… the clause expired.

Coincidence? Really?

I kept fighting. I faced Pacquiao in December 2008. I gave it my all. And in April 2009, I retired for good.

And him? As soon as I hang up my gloves… Floyd Mayweather returns to boxing. September 2009. Juan Manuel Márquez. As if nothing had happened.

He was waiting for me to leave.

He handled his "0" like an accountant handles his books. Not like a champion handles his legacy.

50-0 on paper. But the world knows he was never given the rematch he deserved.

A true champion doesn't run away. He comes back.

Did Floyd run away from the rematch, or was it just a legitimate retirement? Let me know what you think. 🤔

Tyson Fury got a standing count while stumbling around the ring for nearly 30 seconds against Usyk… but Rico? No standing count. No chance to recover. The bell had already rung and he was still throwing back.

Funny how the rules change depending on who’s standing in the corner. Boxing says every fighter deserves a fair shot… but nights like this make fans question everything. 👀

Tyson Fury on Oleksandr Usyk: "Usyk is a brilliant boxer. Brilliant. But let me ask you a question: who has he knocked out at heavyweight? Nobody. He wins on points. He's technically dominant. Fine. But we're talking about heavyweights here. The giants. The dangerous men. He's never had to get back up against an opponent capable of knocking him out. I have. Wilder knocked me down in the twelfth round. I was knocked out. Completely knocked out. And I got back up. Could Usyk have survived that? We don't know. Because at heavyweight, nobody has ever really rocked him. It's not his fault." But don't call him the best boxer before he's been tested like I was.

When the man who came back from the dead against Wilder says that, you have to listen. Fury wasn't just a champion, he was a survivor. He was knocked out by the most dangerous puncher on the planet and still found a way to win.

Usyk mastered movement. Fury mastered the heart. They're not the same thing.

The last true giant of boxing. Undefeated against every heavyweight who challenged him.

Could Usyk have survived the Wilder trilogy?

“Hagler is an exceptional boxer. Exceptional. But let me ask you a question: who has he ever technically dominated? No one. He wins through pressure, volume, intimidation. Okay. But we're talking about boxing here. The noble art. He was never challenged by a man with my speed, my intelligence, my ability to make a great boxer look slow.

I came back after five years. Five years without a real fight. And I walked into Caesars Palace and took his titles. Not by chance. Premeditated.

Could Hagler have managed my movement? My timing? My ring control? We got the answer on April 6, 1987. Two out of three judges saw what I saw.

He never granted me a rematch. Think about that.” “

When the man who came out of retirement to dethrone the most feared middleweight on the planet says this, you have to listen. Leonard wasn't just a champion. He was an artist. He studied Hagler, deciphered him, and executed his plan to perfection. Hagler was a master of destruction. Leonard, a master of strategy. There's no comparison.

The most complete boxer of his generation. Titles in five weight classes. And one night in Las Vegas, the greatest feat in middleweight history.

Did Leonard really beat Hagler… or did he steal the victory?
