I place 3 machines upstairs from downstairs yesterday. More will follow eventually

Goal eventually get rid of open area and place machines i can break down and rebuild upstairs make space downstairs.

Goal in future is add newer machines downstairs or equipment while keeping lot older machine people use upstairs.

24-7 memberships are 45$ [unless you kept price at cheaper time and been grandfather at 35$ price]

Day pass with door code 10$ per person and time/ visit.

Guest pass to a current member 10$

[Price going up to 10$ since lot former members are trying avoid getting memberships and trying go cheaper route as one person gets a membership and using Guest passes on former members trying avoid getting memberships.

Guest pass was more meant for people who weren't members in past wanting try the gym or for family or people friends out of town and family that dont use gym often like spouse or people kids they they bring in once in blue moon ]

I have more Guest passes from former members trying avoid getting memberships again trying avoid paying membership. So it 10$ Guest pass especially if been member before at this gym

I have right make expection on price of Guest pass if person ask me day ahead. I wont make make expection for past member

Back gym door unlocked and has sign on it. Gym memebers are allow park in back and use the door get to the gym or to new Orleans block party event. Memebers are allow cross with family or friends going to the event .

I added two brand new texas strength combo racks to the gym this weekend Which is used in many different powerlifting federation. Hopefully they will get some good use by members. Im still in process of rearranging or taking out older benchs in gym. It probably wont be done until weekend when I have time off work

During event parking upfront might be bad. I will keep one backdoor unlocked with sign for members lifting or members with family that are going to event can go though gym to front parking lot to see event. Usually only days of year im ok with members with family having come inside gym if need break from summer heat. I probably be around somewhere during event

I bought two texas strength combo racks for the gym. Which seems be perfer for most people compete. When they get ship im probably either remove lesser rack or bench out of gym make space for the combos.

I talk to my landlord . I do have permission to toss a event if i ever wanted too in large parking lot in shopping center. Low key been thinking tossing nonsanctioned not afflicted with any federation strongman meet with events for fun. Or something. Maybe in the future i could talk to few federation see about doing sanction meets though them.

I could toss Maybe non sanction powerlifting meet for fun too maybe even outside too in large parking lot. Might hold it outside too since I would have space

In short it ideas I have. I do work lot so hard for me plan since planning things does seem stress me. I. might ask for help from others who might be interested in this

The gym has cameras it very noticeable that it has cameras even the signs around place saying it has cameras. Which i can see history of any point of the day

I will force a strict enforcement on guest policy

Yes I do allow guest for simple 5$ a day

I notice people afternoon crowd to late night crowd will bring guest and not pay.....

Other day I came in the gym around 11pm to a person who was not a member or paid a day pass. Apparently a memeber let his friend in assuming he paid the day pass and that memeber had go but that person was lifting in the place didn't pay until I approach him asking who heck he was making it very obvious im the owner of the location

If you bring a guest. First thing you do is pay. Before even lifting a thing. Im going change policy that memebers now has always pay for guest pass and not assume that guest did right thing and paid. Especially by apps. If the guest dont pay the memeber takes responsibility and punishment as well.

If I see any individual who didn't pay guest pass or not a member of the gym inside the location. I will treat you like person who just broke inside my house. I will be very aggressive on the matter why you're inside a lock location you shouldn't be in.

Also as the owner of the gym. I heard this stupid thing about the first time use is free for person that never been too location. Im not doing that since people only want abuse free workout for there buddy and not join or ever come back for future use. Pay the 5$ day pass or dont bring a guest.

Any memeber that violates the guest policy no matter how close friend/buddy you thing might be to the owner. . Will get there membership revoke as well as guest being ban from the location/gym

Buiness view comes first before friendship view I might make with any member individual. If person violate that I will not look into friendship side but as Buiness point of view.

The only person who can offer free membership or day pass is the owner of the location. And I rarely do that

As summer approaches electcity cost increase. i ask members to please turn off the large fan and lights when they exit.

I notice usually the night crowd or super early morning crowd turn them on and leave them on making it few hrs or even big part of day until another person comes to the gym.

And usually the next person won't turn off even after they leave.cause they didn't turn them on in first place

So going forward if you turn the large fan or building light the responsibility fall on that person to turn off when they leave even if there are others in the gym

if someone else wants take up responsibility turning them on than responsibility of turning off. Will fall on them.

In short im going start addressing people who like turn stuff on and leave things on after they leave. If they dont change that habit I might consider not renewing there membership.
