Skull Creek Targhees Skull Creek Targhees' goal for their sheep is an animal that combines production qualities with fine wool while thriving in range conditions.

Located in Eastern Montana, Skull Creek Targhees run registered Targhees along side a flock of commercial Targhees out on the Montana range. We are passionate about raising sheep that raise good lambs and shear an excellent fleece while running in range conditions with minimal input. The sheep are run on a ranch that is over a hundred years old and both myself, Kristin, and my husband, Cord, are fourth generation Montana ranchers.

Spraying the barn down tonight to trim hooves on our consignment of Skull Creek Targhees and Bieber Land along with McRae Brothers and Ian McRae tomorrow. Very thankful for this big barn on what promises to be a hot and windy day.

All the remaining ewes and lambs are back out to pasture. Some pretty fancy ewe lambs left.

The lambs are pretty happy to go back to their mothers after being sorted off for the day. Got all of the ewes bagged and wormed and everyone, humans and sheep, are glad the day is done.
