At Rival Elite, we know that every child has self-confidence smoldering deep inside. We want to strengthen their competitive edge by instilling a burning desire for excellence on and off the mat. Our Rival athletes and families rolled up their sleeves and refreshed the planters at the James E. Van Zandt Veterans Outpatient Clinic!
From hauling mulch and cleaning the big planters to making the entrance look welcoming again, the team worked hard to show appreciation for our local veterans.
The kids even left a special chalk message out front: “We ❤️ Our Veterans!”
A huge thank you to everyone who came out and helped — this is what community and respect look like. 🇺🇸

As we closed out our 25/26 season yesterday, we truly couldn’t have imagined a better ending. These youth girls faced a tough division all season long, and there were times we weren’t sure they’d find those extra .01 points they needed to land exactly where they deserved. It took hours of practice, moments of frustration—for both the athletes and us as coaches—but yesterday, they proved what we’ve believed all along… they are CHAMPIONS! Watching their growth, resilience, and determination this season has meant more than words can say. As myself, Julie, Shannon, and Liz close out our chapter coaching youth, we want you all to know the impact you’ve had on us. It’s something we’ll carry forever, and we hope you always remember how much we love each and every one of you. And just because we may not be the ones yelling “again!” or “tighten up!” at practice anymore… doesn’t mean we’re going anywhere. We’ll always be cheering you on !❤️🖤
Coach Anna is staying with our youth girlies and I hope we’ve been able to teach her a thing or two over the season 😉
