Midwest N Pioneer Model Railroad Club N-scale Model Railroad Club based in Broadview, IL We are a group of model railroading enthusiasts that work in the n-scale gauge primarily.

Our entire layout is n-scale. We have a mix of DC on our main layout and DCC on our modular layout. Our layout is currently in many different states from mostly complete to beginning scenicing and some track laying. Our club has been in existence since 1989 with our beginnings in the basement of a hobby shop in Franklin Park. Our membership is currently open and we are looking for new members. We

are open each Wednesday and Friday nights for work nights from 7pm to 10pm. Check our website for other information on open houses, special running sessions, or shows we are attending with our modular layout. Come on by and view our layout during one of our open houses in the Spring or Fall. You'll be surprised at what you can build in N-scale!

Our beloved model train club, with a rich 35-year history, is facing an uncertain future. Our current layout, which has been 20 years in the making, will be destroyed by the end of November 2026 due to rising rent and declining enrollment. We have always been passionate about sharing our love for trains through shows and open house events, never charging an entry fee. This club has been a place for community and creativity, and we want to keep it alive. Please like, comment, and share this post to help us reach more people who might want to support our cause.
