Westlake Green 10U Grabs Lead in Fifth Inning for Victory Over BVH Eagles 10U

Westlake Green 10U took the lead late and defeated BVH Eagles 10U 6-5 on Sunday. The game was tied at two with Westlake Green 10U batting in the top of the fifth when Jake J singled off of Lucas P, driving in two runs.

A four-run lead in the fifth inning was just enough for Westlake Green 10U to hold off BVH Eagles 10U for the victory. BVH Eagles 10U scored three runs in the failed comeback on a groundout by Ethan S in the fifth, a single by Anthony A in the sixth, and a passed ball in the sixth.

BVH Eagles 10U captured the lead in the first inning. Ryan M's sac fly scored one run for BVH Eagles 10U.

Chris C, Cole J, Brady C, Johnny J, and Jake J all had one hit to lead Westlake Green 10U.

Westlake Green 10U Falls to BVH Eagles 10U on Walkoff

A walk-off left Westlake Green 10U on the wrong end of a 12-11 defeat to BVH Eagles 10U on Sunday. The game was tied at 11 with BVH Eagles 10U batting in the bottom of the fourth when Grady L singled off of Josh T, driving in one run.

Westlake Green 10U collected eight hits and BVH Eagles 10U had nine in the high-scoring affair
