There was enough interest so we will be having a watch party at the Avon Lake Buffalo Wild Wings, 32914 Walker Road. I tried a couple other places but Thursday nights are popular Karaoke and trivia nights so went with BW3. Hope to see you there!

Husker fans,
This will be a first, a watch party for a Sweet Sixteen basketball game! Gauging interest for a watch party for the 7;30pm game against Iowa on Thursday, March 26th. Location will be determined once I assess the interest. Could do at Winking Lizard in Lakewood but if only west siders respond, then I will do a bit closer to Avon/Avon Lake. Can you let me know if you would attend and a preferred location?

Husker fans,
Certainly not the way we wanted the season to end with the loss against Iowa and now with the likely transfer of Dylan Raiola and the changes in the coaching staff. We do still have a bowl game on New Year’s eve! I am getting a case of FOMO as I have not attended a bowl game in person since December 31 os 2016. Regardless of what I decide to do, I would like to have a watch party for the bowl game which is on Wednesday the 31st at 3:30pm. Given the time of day, purpose of this post is to assess the interest in a watch party and location. Last year we had a bowl game watch party on a Saturday at noon at the Avon Lake BW3 and had around 20 people attend. We could also do at our normal location, Winking Lizard in Lakewood. Please let me know 1) if interested and how many people and 2) location preference 3) if anyone is going to Vegas to attend in person

Husker fans,
Good environment, great fans and a great campus but lousy game for the Huskers against Penn State. Now onto Iowa on Friday at noon which will be an extremely tough game as it usually is. Remember this is a very young team starting a true freshman quarterback. Have to ignore the noise about Dylan potentially going to transfer portal and win the game! I will be unable to make it to Winking Lizard in Lakewood but I am sure they will have a table or tables for us if we decide to go there on Friday and watch the game! Once a bowl game is determined I will communicate regarding bowl game!

Husker fans!
The bye week is so much more fun after a win! Nice win against UCLA with a true freshman QB, TJ Lateef! Now on to a much tougher opponent at Penn State in a whiteout game on Saturday November 22 at 7:00 pm. My son and I decided to make the 4 hour journey to State College and will be attending so if anyone wants to meet us for tailgating message me and we can meet up. Would still like to have a watch party at Winking Lizard in Lakewood so RSVP and let me know if you wish to attend!

Husker fans,
So disappointed but Huskers did put up a good fight. The blackout was unbelievable but the loss and the injury to Dylan really put a damper of the game. Oh well GBR forever and it is going to start going our way! Because of the late game on Saturday against UCLA ( and because my family snookered me into a Disney Cruise..haha) no watch party this week. Hope to have one for the game against PSU in a couple of weeks.

Due to lack of rsvps, we will not have an organized watch party Saturday night. Winking Lizard in Lakewood will have the game on. However ,since we are listed as an official watch site on husker sites people may show up. Glad to see Matt Rhule sign an extension today…shows he is committed!

A win is a win! Another nail biter but a good bounce back from the debacle in Minnesota. 10 people showed at the Winking Lizard in Lakewood for the game! This week’s game is a Saturday Night game at 7:30 pm against USC in the “blackout” game!. I will be at the game in Lincoln but if there is enough interest I can coordinate with Winking Lizard in Lakewood to have a watch party. Please let me know if you wish to attend. I will confirm later in the week via email and on our page if this is a go or not. Even if not a formal watch party they will have the game on!

Husker fans!
Such an awful game against Minnesota! I was watch the game from The Anchor Inn in Yorkville, Illinois which was part of a chain that buffalo wings originated in Buffalo, New York so at least the 18 Husker fans that showed up enjoyed their wings. Thanks to Marlo for hosting one of the largest watch parties we had with 30 people at the Winking Lizard! First time attendee, Colleen, son was getting married on Saturday and family from Nebraska was in town. Congratulations! Planning on a watch party on Saturday at Winking Lizard in Lakewood at noon for the game against Northwestern so let’s hope for a bounce back victory! Please let me know if able to attend!

Husker fans!
Watch party is on tonight for the game against Minnesota tonight at 8:00 pm at Winking Lizard in Lakewood. I have let the managers know that the watch party is a go. Since I will not be there just tell the hostess that you are with the Nebraska fan club and they wil direct you. Marlo indicated she would be there as well so if you look for her she could help. You may have to ask the manager who is there to play sound. Just tell them that I always ask Jim or Nicole ahead of time. If there is a problem just text me.
