📣 Schedule Update for Sunday, Sept. 20

🛠️ PWA Outdoor Range Work Party – 8:00 AM
We moved the date to avoid conflicting with Fauquier County’s Crockett Park Archery Adventure. Come lend a hand getting the outdoor range in shape!

🏹 VBA Meeting – 8:30 AM
PWIWLA is also hosting the VBA meeting that morning at the lower building. All VBA members are welcome to attend.

The 2026 PWA C**n Shoot was a good one! 🦝🏹

Great turnout and a little bit of everybody on the course: competitive shooters, fun shooters, and a solid crew of trad shooters from Manahoac Bowmen . The trad crew didn’t exactly light up the scoreboard 😂, but they had a blast and made a pretty great YouTube Short. I’ll drop it in the comments.

Big thanks to everyone who built targets, weed-eated lanes, worked the kitchen, helped out behind the scenes, and especially our event organizer for making it happen. You guys crushed it! 👏

Next up: the Robert Day Shoot!

This one is a different kind of fun. It’s a challenging 3D novelty course shot with hunting tackle (screw-on points), with targets generally 30 yards and under. Don’t expect nice, wide-open shots either. Trees, branches and awkward shooting lanes are part of the game. No rangefinders.

Bring a few extra arrows and maybe don’t bring the arrows you’d cry over. 😂 Lost and broken arrows are a definite possibility.

If you like archery with a little more challenge and a lot less predictability, come shoot with us! 🏹

At the end of Sep, we will be having our Annual Prince William Archers Club Championship. Who will take the Belt Buckle this year? Will Rick defend his title, or will YOU be the new Club Champion? Come on out on 27 Sep and put your name in the hat for the Battle for the Belt Buckle!!!

PWA has our 6th and final event for the 2026 Outdoor Shoot Series, the Robert Day Novelty 3D on Saturday 13 Sep with registration starting at 8am and round 1 at 9am. We have 3 rounds if you like to sleep in! For additional information, please see our event. We hope to see you there!!!

Tradbow Fest 2026 hosted by the Manahoac Bowmen. Not only is the third time the charm for Tradfest, but they now have three courses (in addition to other prize events and novelty targets) including their first ever Stubborn Man - a 10 target, 1 arrow challenge.

Huge congratulations to Prince William Archers Nate Harvey, Luca Masci, and Aubrey Vandervort!

Competing with Reagan Middle School - Haymarket on 8/8, they earned Worlds Runners-up at the IBO World Championships 3D Challenge. Your adaptability and dedication all summer have been incredibly impressive, and the entire community is proud of this achievement. Well done on bringing home the silver!
