Hey Bristow Disc Golf Friends!
The page may have been a little quiet lately, but there’s been a lot happening behind the scenes!
If you’ve been out to the lake recently, you might’ve noticed something shiny… We’re in the process of installing 19 brand new baskets! 18 for the course and 1 practice basket, all made possible by our amazing sponsors!
Midway through the project, our original designer had to step away, but we were left in incredibly capable hands. We’re excited to introduce Joshua Craig as the new designer on this project!
Joshua has been active in the disc golf community since 1998. He began developing a course in Henryetta in 1999, which has since grown into three full courses and is now home to the Oklahoma State Championships of Disc Golf. He’s also designed and installed a course at the Henryetta Middle School and continues to promote the sport through school and local park programs.
In addition to his design work, Joshua is an Innova Disc Golf Ambassador, helping grow the sport across the region. And just last month, he was appointed to the Oklahoma Disc Golf Foundation.
We’re incredibly grateful for his experience, dedication, and help in making this course something truly special for Bristow. Big things are happening!! Stay tuned and see you out there soon!!
