Flying C Bar Ranch is owned by the Colclasure Family. Bruce Colclasure, Denise Colclasure, Cheyanne Colclasure and Tater Lux.
Bruce Colclasure and the Flying C Bar Ranchโs tradition, love and commitment to horses began 45 years ago. Bruce attended college through Rodeo Scholarships. After college Bruce managed feedlots in the Panhandle of Texas, where he trained his first cutting horse. Bruce and Denise Colclasure have produced a multitude of World Champions in a variety of events: Cutting, Halter, Reining, Team Penning, Team Sorting, Team Roping, Breakaway Roping, Barrel Racing and Western Pleasure. The Championships have been won on the worldโs finest equine athletes: Quarter Horses, Paints, Pintos, Palominos, Appaloosa and Buckskins. With over 70 World Championships to be credited to his accomplishments, his number one priority has always been his clients, whether they have strived to achieve excellence in the cutting industry, halter, reining, reined cow horse, team penning, team sorting, roping or just the dream of owning a wonderful family horse, each and every one has been just as important as the other.
Bruce with his ability to communicate with the amateur and non-pro rider has produced combinations of rider and horse that has made the finals at all the major NCHA events, NCHA Futurity, Derby, Bonanza, Super Stakes and many more. His main accomplishment in his training operation is seeing his amateurโs and non-proโs succeed in any of the equine competitions.
