On Saturday June 6th, 2026 Bristol U12 boys lost in the CT CUP finals vs Simsbury. The game was one our Bristol boys and fans will remember forever!!! Bristol and Simsbury are two long time rivals. Two very well coached teams that always put up a strong fight no matter what! Bristol had the 2-0 lead for most of the game. When Simsbury scored their first goal the momentum shifted slightly, Bristol retaliated with a great goal however it was called offsides. The momentum swing was now fully in Simsbury’s favor and there was just not enough time for Bristol the settle the score. Regardless of the the outcome the Bristol team should be proud they played a fantastic game and have fought very hard to get to this point.

Long time board members report Bristol Soccer Club has only made it to the CT CUP finals 4 times and never once become sole Champions. Let’s hope these boys keep chasing their dreams because they have what it takes to put Bristol on top! This is just the beginning of a strong era for Bristol, we have many talented players and teams on the rise! ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️ photo credit
