🏁 2026 New England Wing Foil Championship — that’s a wrap! 🏁

22 sailors took to the water at Bristol Yacht Club for a weekend of foiling. Saturday delivered with a west wind blowing 15–20 kts, and our Race Committee crushed it — getting 5 races in despite the flat, shifty conditions. 🙌

Sunday turned into a waiting game. Unfortunately the seabreeze just took too long to fill in over Bristol, so racing was called for the day.

🚀 FLYING HIGH IN BRISTOL HARBOR 🚀

Day two of our 5th Annual Wing Foil Racing Series is in the books — and what a day. 17–22 knots of pure, prime-condition wind had the whole fleet soaring.

25 competitors took to the water, including 4 women, 2 juniors, and several racers in their 60s. That’s the beauty of this sport — it’s for everyone. 💪

We ran 5 races, capped off with a long-distance race around Hog Island. 🏝️

🏆 took the overall win on a windfoil
🏆 claimed the wingfoil division

The series runs select Saturdays through May and June, and we’re hosting the New England Wing Foil Championship June 20–21. All dates + registration thru the link in bio. ⛵

Calling all wingfoilers! Bristol Yacht Club is gearing up for its 5th year of summer wingfoil racing — the fleet is growing every year and we’d love to have you join. Racing is open to all levels, wingfoils and windsurf foils.

If you can transition (tack or gybe) and sail upwind and downwind, get out and give racing a try. Brand new to racing? No problem — the one and only will be running race briefings and info sessions before the Series and the NE Championship to walk through rules and courses so you feel confident on the water.

It’s a great way to meet other riders, push your skills, and experience a whole new side of wingfoiling.

Each race day has a 3-hour window (typically 2–5pm) with up to 5 races. If conditions are perfect, there may even be a long-distance race around Hog Island!

4th Annual New England Championships are in the books! 🏆💨

Huge thanks to Tom Gardos for stepping up as PRO and to all the RC volunteers who made it happen.
We first tried to run the event back in July, but the wind had other plans. Thanks to Bristol Yacht Club for being flexible and helping us get it done in October! Saturday was calm, but Sunday delivered — with an early 10am start and some shifty NE breeze keeping everyone on their toes. ⚡️
Congrats to Rob Spets for taking 1st 🥇, Michael Zonnenberg for 2nd 🥈, Jason Morton for 3rd 🥉, and Cat V for top female! 🙌
We wrapped it all up with lunch and drinks at Aiden’s, the local favorite 🍻

Epic day on the water! Had 5 races today with a marginal 8-15 knot breeze. Big thanks to our awesome Race Committee for keeping everything running smoothly! 13 riders participated, and everyone stayed safe despite a busy powerboating day. What a blast!

Day 1 of the BYC Wingfoil Race Series is officially in the books! 🔥 We were stoked to kick things off with 27 registered racers this year! Today’s challenging WNW breeze kept everyone on their toes with some seriously variable conditions. Congrats to Michael Zonnenberg for a dominant performance, taking the win in three of the five races and landing in 1st overall!
