According to FBI statistics there are about 8 -10,000 gun related homicides in the United States each year. The Center for Disease Control estimates there are 2.5 Million Defensive Gun Uses a year. That equates to about 6,500 times a day a legal gun owner in the United States prevented a crime with a firearm, the vast majority of the time, without ever having to pull the trigger.

'What matters is not the risk (or lack thereof) that guns pose to society, but simply whether guns are a reasonable means of self-defense.'

Situational awareness is your first step in self defense. Do not count on 911 as first responders...YOU are the first to scene. You are your own first responder. Even if you do not know how to defend yourself, or your are "outgunned", situational awareness could prevent most incidents like this.

PAHOKEE, FL – Andre Brown is facing charges for the r**e of a 13-year-old girl in a church while attending a funeral. The incident took place on April 30, 2016 but she did not tell anyone. The girl told detectives that Brown had pulled her into a restroom at the church, locked the door, and then proceeded to r**e her. The young girl was taken to the doctor in July was found to be pregnant. DNA evidence shows that Brown is the one that impregnated her.
