The boys competitive assessment scheduled for tomorrow 6/23 has been moved to 6/30 at 6:30pm due to rain.

See below for full information and register now if you have not already done so.

The evaluations are scheduled for the following days:

Boys - Tuesday, June 30th 6:30-7:30pm
Girls - Wednesday, June 24th 5:30-6:30pm

BYSA is holding assessments for our Competitive Program in the upcoming Fall 2026 season at the Bristol Town Beach Sports Complex.

The Competitive Program is different from the Developmental Program and includes 8 games (4 at home and 4 at other communities across RI) and at least one weekend tournament. Registration for the Developmental Program will be sent out separately. Assessments for the Competitive Program will be held for boys and girls born in the age range of July 31, 2020 to August 1, 2014. There is no charge for this assessment, and all players interested in playing competitively are encouraged to register and attend.

Please have the players arrive 20 minutes early for check-in. Make sure to have the players bring a soccer ball, cleats/shin guards, and plenty of water.

🔹 Ages 3+4 (Pre-K) 5:00 - 5:45pm
🔹 Grades K-2 5:00 - 6:00 pm
🔹 Grades 3-8 6:00 - 7:00 pm
Location: Kickemuit Middle School Soccer field, Warren RI
Start Date: Tuesday July 7th
Following Dates: July 14, 21, 28, August 4

Here’s a reminder of how our training sessions are structured:

5-10 minute warm up - Warm ups will include pump up music, accompanied by energizing, inclusive activities that get the athletes ready to train!
20 minutes of modeling and drills - Drills are focused on one particular skill each week; athletes will receive immediate feedback during this time.
30 minutes of gameplay - This is when athletes will apply the skill and receive feedback from the coaches on their performance.
