We’re back in action after 2 weeks off. Everyone’s been doing their part to stay in shape and focus on getting back to winning form.

We have the next 2 weeks off, and will use that time to train and find our form. We’ll use this early loss to motivate us going forward.

Hydras vs Ducks in the week 4 match tomorrow!

The match last week was rained out and postponed, so FC Delta are chomping at the bits to get back on the pitch and continue the good form! The forecast for tomorrow looks like a beautiful day for footy, so come out to South Philly and support the Hydras! 🐉🔥

Week 2 Final: FC Delta 1 - 0 Sunday Georgie

The first half of this game was not the best for FC Delta. We couldn’t get quality possessions going and the passing wasn’t sharp. But the Hydras made some great halftime adjustments, locked in and took control of the game. 1 goal was all that was needed in this close, competitive match. Great defense held it down to secure 3 points! 🐉

After winning the Kelly Cup opener on Wednesday night 2-1 vs FC Cornos, FC Delta’s historic season came to a close yesterday in the Quarterfinals. The Hydras lost 4-0 vs the well rested and heavily favored #1 seed FC Southhouse.

This fall 2023 season was one for the books. In 8 seasons and less than 5 years of existence, FC Delta has earned our 3rd promotion!!! We started as a scrappy and ambitious 6th division squad of pickup players to now being a 3rd division Kelly cup contender. We’ve grown so much as individuals, as a team, and as a club.

Credit to every player on our roster for their hard work and commitment. Everyone played a vital role in this accomplishment. And thank you to all who have shown us support through the years!

🏆 Tonight begins FC Delta’s campaign for the KELLY CUP!

The Kelly Cup features the top 5 teams from Casa’s 1st division and the champions of divisions 2-7.

🏆 FC DELTA ARE DIVISION CHAMPIONS! 🏆

Going into the last game of the regular season, Delta had a chance to win the division title. News was buzzing before kickoff that Spicy Boi FC was leading their game 3-1 against the 2nd place Sunday Georgie.

However, FC Delta didn’t need any help to secure their championship. It was all Delta from the first whistle to the final. They routed Oaklyn Academy Pride 6-0.

FC Delta finished the season with a record of 8-1-2, which was their best season in club history (est. Fall 2019). It’s also their first ever division title!

Now the Hydras turn their focus to the Kelly Cup tournament! DELTA IS MASSIVE! 🐉🔥

🏁 Fall 2023 Season Recap 🏁

Week 1 vs Barenjager SC: Delta started their fall campaign in a great way, taking a 3-1 victory against Barenjager at Bristol Township.

Week 2 vs Spicy Boi FC: Delta fell behind 2-0 before halftime but fought back in the second half to earn a point with a 2-2 final.

Week 3 vs Inter Phila: Scoring chances were few and far between for both sides, resulting in a rare 0-0 draw.

Week 4 vs Industry FC: Delta controlled this game from the start, showcasing some of their best passing and possession play to a 2-0 win.

Week 5 vs Fishtown SC: The Hydras woke up bright, early and ready to take on the Fish at New Church. Delta won 3-1.

Week 6 vs Deadball SC: Delta were feeling confident coming into this game, but that would be their downfall. Deadball were the better side that day, resulting in a 3-1 loss for the Hydras.

Week 7 vs Oaklyn Pride: Delta got back on track with a 4-2 win.

Week 8 vs Sunday Georgie: The winner of this game would take 1st place in the division. Delta played stellar defense and finished their chances. The 2-0 win for Delta was Georgie’s first loss in 41 consecutive regular season games.

Week 9 vs Berber United: Another bout for top table. Delta allowed an early goal but would take a 2-1 lead soon after. Berber got desperate, showing unsporting behavior, but it wouldn’t change the 4-2 result in favor of Delta.

Week 10 vs Barenjager SC: A rematch of week 1 had a similar result. Delta executed a beautiful set piece to put the game away. 2-0 win for the Hydras.

With 1 game left in the regular season, FC Delta are a 3 points away from clinching their first ever CASA division title. It’s their best season in club history!
