By God’s grace we get to enjoy moments like this. Last seasons youth hunt was an absolute blast.
To these boys it’s just another hunt with great friends, but to the dad’s it’s much more. We get to see our kids fall in love with the great outdoors that we love. We get to see the smiles, the heartbreak, hear the laughter, the shushes. We watch their eyes widen in awe when the birds do it right and that’s why we do it.
We will always choose taking our boys, no matter what it costs us. We will spend the time to teach them the sport so it’s still here for their kids and grandkids, to show them how beautiful God’s world is when it wakes up and goes to sleep.
If you ever get the opportunity to take a child to the great outdoors DO IT! You won’t regret it, whether it be hunting, fishing, or hiking get them outside.
