Sorry this has to happen, but I would like this post shared far and wide. The Brimley Ice Rink has had snowmobiles riding on it on two different occasions in the last couple days. This is totally unacceptable and sadly if it continues the rink will be locked. If you see anyone on the rink with a snowmobile, please ask them to stop. Over the years we have had very good luck with people respecting the equipment and the work that goes into keeping the rink nice. Sadly if these few people continue to disrespect the facility it will be closed.

We are back from Detroit and we have the parking lot cleared and 90% of the rink. I had to quit for the night. Please do us a favor and when you are done, leave the equipment up against the fence and if you are leaving pucks, please place them on top of the net.

I might be working on my blower for a while getting this puck unwedged. I found about 6 pucks all in the snow.

Please help us out!! We are volunteers and our equipment is expensive…

We have closed the rink. Unless we get a drastic change in the weather the rink will be closed for the season. I want to personally thank Sean Hill for the many, many hours he put into keeping the rink free of snow so the community could enjoy it. See you next winter!

We are starting to see some damage on some of the equipment up at the rink. Please take care of the items that are provided for your use.
