Trails are open to horses and bikes. With that being said, the creek crossings are covered in mud and slick. If you have a horse that does not navigate that type of terrain, I wouldn’t go across them. We have been out mowing them and cutting up and moving more trees this week. Happy riding this weekend.

Through road update: Site staff has been working daily to get all the trees out of the culverts. I am thinking tomorrow we may be able to finish it up. Thanks for everyone’s patience. Kudos to the staff too. That is hard work digging through all the mud and debris to pull stuff out.

Mother Nature has not been happy this week. Especially the last couple days. This is what we came into this morning. Needless to say the through road will be closed until the creek goes down and we can get it cleaned up. Trails will also be closed until further notice.

Attention Horseback Riders:

We are cleaning out the manure bins and we are finding a lot of plastic twine in them. Please do not put the twine in the manure bins. The vendor we take the manure to is threatening to cut us off if we keep bringing the manure with the twine in it. They use it for compost. I would hate to lose this vendor as it is very expensive to get a dumpster to remove the manure. I would greatly appreciate it and happy riding.

Quick sunflower update: The sunflowers are definitely past their prime now. There may be a few smaller blooms but the heads are tipping because they are full of seeds, and the petals are all falling off. Hopefully everyone was able to get some great pictures. They will be back next year!

Quick trail update. Site staff has been working tirelessly cleaning up the trails. Today alone they cut up 23 trees. We still have some work to do, but kudos to the site staff working hard in this heat. If you happen to see them out, thank them for there hard work. It’s been a few warm ones out there.

It’s almost time! We are starting to see some blooms. Starting next week for about two weeks will be prime picture taking. As always, please don’t pick or destroy the sunflowers. 🌻 The fields are located on thousand dollar rd where the Brimfield jubilee blacktop T’s.
