Hey gang, I met with Stu this morning. His plan is to open the trails tomorrow. He stressed that, although the trails are mostly dry, there will still be some slick spots, and to be especially cautious at the creek crossings and the crossing approaches. The creek has dumped a fair amount of mud on these approaches and he cannot be sure how deep it is. If it looks sketchy steer clear or dismount and check it on foot. None of us want to get a horse hurt.
The poker ride will step out at 10am and will probably be a 2 hour ride. Please be registered by 9:45. Don't forget there will be a potluck after the ride, bring drinks and a dish to share.
