Got a couple announcements. 1st is that due to some sponsorship deals Robley Sim Sports will now become a asphalt team focusing on mainly the truck and xfinity series on iracing. We will run in other asphalt series but will mainly be in the truck and xfinity series.

2nd announcement is we also wanted to keep doing our racing on the dirt side. So a week or so ago talked to a good friend of mine and owner of CHC motorsports and we will be making our return to CHC motorsports to race on the dirt side for them. I might still post dirt racing results on here but they will for surely be over on the CHC motorsports page. So go give that page a like and beome a follower over there also.

Robley Sim Sports car 85 took our dirt legends car to the track tonight. We went in with good lap times and speeds. However we would not get to qualify due to technical difficulties. We would start our feature race in the 9th starting position.

Our luck would not change at the start of the race. Going down the backstretch on the 1st lap driver of the 7 car, lost control he went to the bottom of the track. So we were gonna go to the high side, and he shot back up in to us. Putting us into the wall, and flipping us.

Went into the pits, and got repairs. Came back out on track a lap down still in 9th place. Thats when the luck changed for us a little bit. The track slicked off enough to suit us great. We started picking positions off and gaining spots back. As the track slicked off others started slowing down and we went faster. Other spun out and we kept the car pointed the right way.

We thought we were gonna settle in and settle for a 6th place finish. But we looked at the on screen running order and seen 5th place was just in front of us. So we put the hammer down and took a shot at getting a top 5 finish. Which we were able to do. Made a last lap pass for 5th place coming out of turn 4.

Race started off frustrating, but it quickly became a very fun race. We were going for the win to start the night off. But with the situation we were put in at the start. I will take a top 5.

Thanks to our sponsors, partners, fans, and followers. We will be back on track a couple times this week. Just not sure of our schedule for the week yet.

Last race of the night, we ran our dirt legend car. Raced it at Limaland, Had fastest practice times, qualified 1st. So we started on the pole for the feature race.

We lead a couple laps then messed up on corner entry going into turn 3. 2nd place driver passed us, we took many chances to pass the him and regain the lead. We would get a good run then have to deal with lapped cars, where us and the leader had a close call with one of the lapped cars. But both of us made it through and had a good hard fought race to the end where we would come up just short.

We should have been able to hold on to the lead but made a mistake. Tristan was just the better driver tonight. Raced him a couple times and always been good racing between us two. Always good hard clean racing. And because he always races me clean I just couldn't get myself to give him the bumper and move him. So congrats to Tristan on the win! I'm sure we will meet up on the track again.

We have not made a decision on what our next race will be yet. We will hopefully be back on the track again tomorrow.

Took our 360 winged sprint car and competed in the c2c racing league tonight. Entered practice with only a couple minutes left. We qualified 10th, and with the invert we started on the pole in heat race #2. Got pinned down going into turn one after taking the green so had a bad run through turn 1. Fell back to 3rd and that is where we would finish the heat race. We made it into the A main without having to run the B main.

We started 8th in the A main, made our way up to 5th and that is where we would run most of the race. On the last caution of the race we lost a couple spots and fell back to 8th. Made a couple passes to get our finishing spot in 6th place.

We wanted a better finish, but we will take it. Keeping a strong start to the season going.

Thanks to our sponsors/partners and our followers!!!

Robley Sim Sports decided to take out our big block modified. Where we ran our 1st big block modified race of the iracing official season. We did not fair to well in practice or qualifying.

In our heat race we started 6th and finished 6th but we were keeping pace with the rest of the field. In our 40 lap A main, we started 12th and finished 6th. Was a fun A main, everyone ran clean. It was more of a challange running these then the 358 mods.

The racing is closer, but it's good clean hard racing. I'm happy with the results of this race. With the quality of racers I ran against in this race we will gladly take the 6th place finish.

Good start to the big block official iracing season. Got a good start to build off of.

Until next time everyone have a great weekend!!!

First race of the night, we ran our dirt legends car and Lanier speedway. Started 9th and finished 6th. Should have had a better finish. But some drivers think they can win the race on lap one in turn one. Driver in 3rd place decided to dive bomb the leader and never cleared the leader causing a wreck. Which messed up the whole field. Everyone got situated and we were only able to work our way up to 6th.

Not the way we wanted to open the iracing official season. But we will regroup and get after it for the next race.

Opening night in the 360 winged sprint car with coast to coast racing league.

In practice we had the 4th fastest time giving us high hope for qualifying. We got to qualifying and driver got to comfortable and over drove the car putting it into the turn 2 wall.

We would be placed in the 2nd heat and with the invert they have we started on the pole. But once again driver messed up with to much wheel spin at the start. Found our groove and drove it back up to 3rd and transfered to the A main.

In the A main we started 8th got ourself up to 6th and got slowed up by a slower car on the high side. Lost a couple spots, fell back to 9th before we got momentum back. Worked back up to 7th and that is where we would settle in to finish.

Over all it was an ok race night. Yes we wanted a better finish, But we can work with a 7th place start to the season.

Next tentative scheduled race is in the 360 winged sprint again in DUI'S and dingers 360 league.

Thank you to our sponsors. partners, and followers.

Robley Sim Sports took it's 358 mod to I-55 speedway to race in the Mid-South 358 modified series.

Showed up to the track late so didn't get much practice. We chose to start in the back. So we would start in 11th and finish 7th. We had a much better car the that. But due to driver mistake and mistake of another driver. We came from the back a couple of times. Just ran out of time to climb back through the field at the end of the race.

Next race is at Port Royal with the coast 2 coast racing league. We will load up our 360 winged sprint car and go give them a run for their money.

Thanks to our sponsors, and our supporters and followers!!

Tonight was the opening night for season 3 or BNR xfinity racing league. Was not the way we were looking to start off the season. Was going pretty good until lap 40 of a 125 lap race.

We started 26th, and making our way up through the field. We were running in the 14th position. Then got caught up in a wreck, just had no where to go. Just a deal of a couple guys in front of us racing like it was the last lap going for the win. We were just in the wrong spot at the wrong time.

Next BNR xfinity race is next Thursday and we will be racing Texas Motor Speedway. Hopefully get better results. Next time the #85 Robley Sim Sports car will be on the track, will be on Sunday night running in the Mid-South 358 Modified league.

Thanks to our sponsors and supporters!!

Next season's plans for iracing.

As for iracing official racing, as mentioned in the last post. We will be returning to the dirt legends series again. They may not be the biggest cars to run but they are fun to race! We will did some 358 modified racing part of last season. Did pretty well in them, but we will bypass them and jump into the big block modifieds. After a 4 season absence from the UMP mods, we will be making a return to them and see what we can do with them this time around.

On the asphalt side of iracing official races once again like mentioned before we will be racing the nascar tour modifieds. If we have open days of racing we will also be running the truck series in officials. Other then that we won't be doing much in the way of asphalt racing in officials.

Now for league racing. Right now we are already in season with a couple leagues. We currently run Sunday nights in the mid-south league racing 358 modifieds. Also been running in a Tuesday night winged 360 sprint car league.

Starting tomorrow night we will be starting in an xfinity leauge, looks to be a good group of racers in there. So should be a good time. In January we will start running in two different truck series leagues which I've been looking forward to running in.

Well we have reached the end of iracing 2022 season 4. In official races series we did pretty well. We ran 3 series won two championships and a 3rd place in points.

One championship was in the dirt legends. We won the division championship again this year!! We have 4 division dirt legends titles. With two back to back, we will be returning to the dirt legends in the next iracing season to defend it and go for 3 in a row!

Our other championship was in silver crown series. We won the division championship for the 2nd time in this series. We are undecided on if we will return to silver crown next season or not. As of right now there is no plans on returning to silver crown for next season.

Our 3rd series we ran in was the SK modified division. We finished 3rd in division points in that series. We were the point leaders for half of the season. But midseason we missed a couple weeks of racing SK. Taking us out of the championship running. We will not be returning to the sk modifieds next season as we plan on moving up to the nascar touring modifieds.

We will have another post up with the full list of iracing plans for next season, along with plans of what leagues we will be starting to run in. We will also include our sponsors. We have had a couple new ones come on board and one or two that we took off of the car as they were not holding up their end of the deal so we ended the partnerships with those couple sponsors.

Thank you to all that follow and support us here at Robley Sim Sports.

Its been a while since the last post in here. Just haven't had the time to sit down to keep up with the team updates. But we have been racing all this while. Some good races and some bad ones. But we have had more good races then the bad.

We have been running our dirt legend car the most. Focusing on the division championship. Which we are leading the points in. After some struggle with them at the beginning of the season. We got some outside help on re figuring them out. We are now back in position with them where we are back up front battling for wins again.

Other cars we have been running in are SK asphalt mods, where we are sitting 2nd in divison points. Silver crown cars we are leading division points. Pro 4 offroad trucks sitting just outside the top 10 for division points. We have also been playing around with and testing 358 mods, big block mods, and ump mods.

We have joined a couple leagues to race in again. One league is the mid south iracing league on sunday nights racing the 358 mods. With the 1st night being last night. Did not turn out the way we wanted it to for opening night. Qualified like crap, heat race was ok. Went from 12th to 8th, but that was 2 spots short of transfer to the A main. So ran the B main started 6th, got shuffled back on lap one cause of a brake check by someone up front. Fell back to dam near last place. Worked our way back up to 9th but got passed on the last lap and finished 10th. Got the last transfer spot in to the A main. A main we started 20th. It was a total wreck fest. We averaged a caution every other lap and a half. We were able to miss most of them. But did get caught up in a couple minor deals at 1st. We worked our way up to about 11th once we got some green flag laps in. Then the cautions started back in again. Then with about 4 laps left we were running 12th at that time. with a possible top 10 in sight, then we got dumped coming out of turn 4. Car was junk after that. Made the final restart in 18th and was only able to pick up 2 spots to finish 16th. We will move on to the next race with hope of a better race.

Our other league we joined runs on Tuesday nights. Called Dui's and dingers. It is a 360 winged sprint car league. Our opening night for that is this Tuesday. So we will get our 360 prepared and ready to go for tomorrow night. Should be fun, Been a long while since i've ran in our 360 sprint car. So looking forword to it.

Hopefully now things are slowing down, ill have time to go back to doing these update posts again.

Thank you to all that follow us here!!!
