My name is Christine Giorgetti and I am an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist, Certified Nutrition Coach through Precision Nutrition, Certified Level 1 TRX Trainer, and Certified Intrinsic Biomechanist. From the 9-year old boy in my KidFit class who called burpees ‘slurpees’; to the 98-year old woman in my class at a Senior Center who increased her single-leg balance time by 30 seconds; every single one of my clients has made an impact on my life. There really is nothing more rewarding than seeing someone reach their goals, and knowing you helped them get there. I believe everyone has a fire within them, and some people just need a spark to get it started. I’ve seen first hand how exercise can change lives….now I want to help you change yours!

Training pregnant and postpartum women requires a specific set of skills and knowledge that is not covered in the average weekend personal training certification. 🥬 GROCERY SHOPPING TIPS & TRICKS 🍓

🍎Write a list and stick to it. It’s helpful to keep a “master” list stored in your notes app, that you can add to remove from week to week. This means you aren’t starting a list from scratch every week.

🥦When writing your list, think about the layout of your grocery store. Write your list based on how you walk through the store. For example, if you walk into the produce section when you first enter the store, put all your produce items at the top of the list, and so on.

🧀Shop the perimeter first, and only go down aisles if you specifically need something in that aisle. Aimlessly walking up and down every aisle is not only a waste of time, but will cause you to grab stuff you don’t need.

I know lots of people dread going to the grocery store, but making these three small changes can help you streamline your shopping AND help you spend less $$!

This is your yearly reminder that, no matter what anyone says, you never need to use exercise as a punishment for eating food.

You do not need to do “X” number of burpees, or “X” minutes of cardio to "burn off" your holiday meal.

What you should do is relax and enjoy the day with your family and friends. Enjoy a delicious meal. Then tomorrow, get right back on track. No need to eat less tomorrow. No need to do extra exercise tomorrow.

For those navigating food anxiety and food guilt, I know this is easier said than done. I know the holidays can be a tough time. I've been there, and I see you.

Just remember that one day, one meal, is not going to completely derail your progress.
