🚨Have you ever seen a bond like this? & have you ever seen in your life, a mother and son who have gotten a black belt together? It’s pretty rare if you ask us. Mother & son, Teresa & Nico, started training Jiujitsu with professor Bruno since the beginning- white belt. It all started as a sport for her son but as she was watching him train she could not hold back getting on the mats herself. As a way to keep her son motivated, it ended up becoming something more special, a life long Jiujitsu bond. I’m sure you have heard the saying “never give up”, or “from white to black”. Well, here’s the proof. We are very proud to have these two in our gym. ❤️ Congratulations Teresa, S*F Academy’s FIRST female black belt & to Nico, Bruno’s first kids who started with him from white belt. Getting a black belt does not mean it’s the end of you have finished, this is only the beginning. If you see them in the gym, make sure to congratulate them. 🙏🏽 feeling SO Blessed. It was great to have a friend come and teach us some of his knowledge. Thank you But to be surrounded with friends from different gyms is even better. We cannot wait to have you back Joao!

👊🏽🔥 We showed up today with 11 kids. & left winning 1st place in the kids overall division. But if you train every day, what more would you expect? We are very proud of these kids. They have been training very hard. 2023 has a lot in store for them. Oss

Congratulations to everyone who was promoted at the Adults winter belt ceremony. S*F Academy officially has their second black belt. 🥋✨ It was very nice having friends and families coming to support their loved ones. And thank you for celebrating with us after and enjoying the traditional fish stew from Brazil (Moqueca) 🇧🇷
