Brighton Wrestling

Brighton Wrestling Brighton Wrestling Club builds youth into quality wrestlers whom exhibit exceptional community pride, discipline, and excellence in sport.

The Brighton Wrestling Club was established in 1968 on the foundation of hard work, dedication, and good sportsmanship. Brighton has an ongoing history of winning Colorado State Wrestling Championships. Our non-profit club has assisted in developing this great community tradition. As our club continues to grow, we strive to work on the same foundation it was built on. Community pride and support h

as always been a cornerstone of the Brighton tradition of wrestling. Brighton Wrestling Club stands for pride, integrity, and good sportsmanship while always striving for personal and team greatness. Our organization and coaches foster an environment that involves fun, discipline, and hard work while learning the great sport of wrestling. Wrestling is different from many other sports. Individual strength and hard work is met with team unity and sportsmanship. Children ages 4-14 take part in 2 practices a week with a dual or tournament on the weekends. This winter sport is great for any youth that is looking for a challenge, both physically and mentally, while having fun with coaches and peers. Our sport starts in late October and goes through Mid-February. We hope that you will consider taking part in the fantastic sport of wrestling.

πŸ₯‡πŸŒŽ WORLD CHAMPION! 🌎πŸ₯‡

Brighton Wrestling Club would like to congratulate Matilda Hruby on winning GOLD at the U17 Beach Wrestling World Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Matilda’s journey is a perfect example of what BELIEF, LOYALTY, HARD WORK, and GREAT COACHING can accomplish.

Matilda started wrestling with Brighton Wrestling Club when she was just 5 years old. Through every stage of her career, she has proudly represented Brighton. She never jumped from club to club looking for the next best thing. She stayed home. She trusted the process. And along the way, she has had coach after coach who believed in her, pushed her, challenged her, and helped her become the wrestler and young woman she is today.

That is what Brighton Wrestling is about.

To our wrestling parents: Believe in your wrestler. Believe in their coaches. Trust the process.

There will be wins. There will be losses. There will be tough practices, tough tournaments, tears, celebrations and plenty of bumps along the way. But when wrestlers have parents and coaches who believe in them and everyone is pulling in the same direction…

BIG THINGS CAN HAPPEN.

Sometimes, those big things even end with your wrestler standing on top of a WORLD podium with a GOLD medal around her neck. πŸ₯‡πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Congratulations, Matilda! From a 5-year-old Brighton Wrestling Club wrestler to a U17 BEACH WRESTLING WORLD CHAMPION!

We could not be more proud to call you one of our own. β€οΈπŸ–€πŸ€
