After managing the rink through the early 60's, Eddie & Mary Trevena purchased the Wagon Wheel in 1968. Never short on labor, the Trevena's, and their 6 children (3 boys and 3 girls) operated the skating rink for over 25 years. In the mid 80's the Eddie & Mary purchased another skating rink in Ft. Collins, Rollerland Skate Center , and moved the family up north. Eldest son Troy stayed behind to ke

Coupons and checks from the previous year have been printed, cut, and are ready for distribution to the elementary and middle schools within 27J, as well as select surrounding schools.

These coupons provide students and families with $1.00 off any public skate session on Saturdays and Sundays. In addition, we track the number of coupons redeemed throughout the year and contribute $1.00 back to each participating school for every coupon turned in.

This program provides families with an opportunity to enjoy an affordable activity while also giving back directly to our local schools. Be on the look our for the coupon coming home with your student! We will be sending them out throughout the year, See you soon!

We wanted to wait until everything was finalized and we had some time to settle into our new roles before sharing this exciting news with everyone.

We are thrilled to announce that, as of July 2026, Wagon Wheel is under new ownership and operations!

Wagon Wheel remains proudly owned by the Trevena family, while day-to-day operations are now being led by Haley, pictured on the left. Feebs, pictured on the right, continues to be an integral part of Wagon Wheel as our manager.

Both ladies have been part of the Wagon Wheel family for many years. Feebs first became part of the Wagon Wheel family in the early 2000s, with Haley joining a little later in 2005. Their longstanding connection to Wagon Wheel and our community makes this next chapter especially meaningful.

We are incredibly excited about the future and look forward to continuing to provide our community with a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for many years to come.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Wagon Wheel throughout the years. We can’t wait to continue this journey with all of you! ❤️
