Meet Dori, our morning MC for the Island Lake Challenge. She’s a multi-time State Road Champ and last year’s fastest woman at the Lumberjack, but her favorite role is encouraging the next generation of racers to get after it.

CLYDESDALES: a reminder of how you qualify = Your HEIGHT in inches X 3. If you weigh at least that much, you're a Clydesdale!
✅5'6 and weigh 198 lbs? You're a Clydes
✅6'6 and weigh 234 lbs? You're a Clydes
🛑6'4 and weigh 210 lbs? You should race your age class

MORC believes the most fair way is this measurement. A min. weight of 220 lbs. (or 200), has been changed for 2026 & beyond..

Connor Grant aka “2026 Waterloo 100k Gravel Champion” will be channeling his inner Kevin James as he will be taking over the mic 🎤 on the second half of the Island Lake MTB Challenge! If you’re looking for the energy to get you pumped up at the start of your race in the afternoon, this is the man who’s going to bring it. Rest up those eardrums, it’s going to be a loud one! (and he’ll probably lose his voice again)
