AYSO Brigham City Region 138 Volunteer-powered recreational soccer for ages 3–19, serving Brigham City, Perry, and surrounding communities since 1978.

Our region is part of nearly 900 Regions throughout the United States whose 250,000 volunteers serve over 600,000 players. Our Region serves almost 1200 children who range from 5 years old to 18 years old.

⚽️ Fall soccer starts Saturday, September 19!

We’re working on team rosters and game schedules now and will release them by division as they’re ready. Some divisions will receive their information before others.

Player equipment pickup will be at the bowery at the Brigham City Sports Complex:

• Tuesday, September 15, 5–7 p.m.
• Thursday, September 17, 5–7 p.m.
• Saturday, September 19, 8–10 a.m. — Opening Day 🙌🏻

Fall recreational soccer registration is open with AYSO Region 138 for players ages 3–19 in Brigham City, Perry, and surrounding communities. New and returning players are welcome, including recent high school graduates born on or after August 1, 2007.

Registration closes Sunday, August 16. First games are Saturday, September 19, the first Saturday after Peach Days. Closing Day is Saturday, October 31, with no games over local fall break.

The August 16 deadline gives us time to finalize teams and schedules and gives teams a chance to get a practice or two in before games begin.

⚽ WHAT FALL INCLUDES

• Kickstart ages 3–5: six Saturday sessions with age-appropriate activities, each ending with a small-sided scrimmage

• 6U and older: eight planned games across six Saturdays and two weeknights. At 6U, each game day starts with a short team practice, with no separate weekly practice

• 8U and older: weekly team practices in addition to those eight planned games

As players move through the program, game formats grow with them, from 4v4 at 6U and 8U to 7v7 at 10U, 9v9 at 12U, and full-sided 11v11 beginning at 13U.

Every player gets meaningful playing time, and we form teams with balance in mind.

Region 138 has served local families since 1978. Our volunteer coaches have current background checks and complete required safety certifications and age-specific coach training.

⚽ KICKSTART SOCCER FOR AGES 3–5

Every soccer journey starts with a first kick. Kickstart gives our youngest and first-time players a fun, welcoming place to get started.

Kickstart replaces the former Playground and Schoolyard programs with age-appropriate activities that help kids get comfortable with the ball, build confidence, make friends, and have fun playing.

Every session ends with a small-sided scrimmage, so gameplay is a regular part of the experience from the beginning.

Kickstart includes six Saturday sessions with no separate weekly practice. Sessions are generally scheduled at 9:00 or 10:00 a.m. The fall season begins Saturday, September 19, the first Saturday after Peach Days, and runs through October 31.

For Fall 2026, Kickstart is open to players who will be ages 3–5 when the season begins, with eligible birth dates from August 1, 2021 through September 19, 2023.

Not sure which division fits your player? Enter their birth date during registration, and the system will show the correct division.

⚽ FALL 2026 SOCCER REGISTRATION IS OPEN

AYSO Region 138 is looking forward to another season of local soccer for families in Brigham City, Perry, and surrounding communities.

First-time and returning players are welcome in every division, and no prior soccer experience is required. Region 138 offers a welcoming, low-pressure recreational environment where kids can play, learn, build confidence, make friends, and enjoy being part of a team.

📅 FALL SEASON DATES

Registration deadline: Sunday, August 16
Opening Day: Saturday, September 19
Closing Day: Saturday, October 31

No games will be scheduled during the local fall break weekend.

6U
8U

12U
13U-15U
16U-19U

Not sure which division fits your player? The “U” stands for “under,” but families do not need to calculate placement themselves. AYSO’s updated age determination aligns divisions more closely with school grade levels. Enter your player’s birth date accurately during registration, and the system will show the appropriate division.

Kickstart replaces the former Playground and Schoolyard programs with a fun, welcoming introduction to soccer for young and first-time players. Each session combines age-appropriate activities and time with the ball, then ends with a small-sided scrimmage so gameplay is a regular part of the program from the beginning.

The updated 13U-15U and 16U-19U divisions also give older players a clearer pathway as they move into full-sided soccer.

WHAT TO EXPECT THIS FALL

Kickstart includes six Saturday sessions with no separate weekly practice.

Players in 6U and older will play an eight-game season with six Saturday games and two weeknight games.

6U includes a short practice before each game rather than a separate weekly practice. Players in 8U and older have a separate weekly practice in addition to their games.

Families can register for Fall 2026, Spring 2027, or both seasons. Players who participate in both seasons receive $10 off their Spring division fee.

Register by August 16 for Fall team placement. Registering early helps our volunteers recruit coaches, build balanced teams, keep rosters manageable, and prepare schedules before the season begins.

AYSO Region 138 has partnered with UK International Soccer to bring a heavily discounted summer soccer camp to the Brigham City area the week of June 1–5 at Perry Park. This camp is open to all local players ages 4–14, whether they currently play AYSO, played in the past, play city rec, play club, or are brand new to soccer.

Spring closing day is tomorrow!

It has been great seeing the kids back out on the fields this spring, growing with their teams, competing, and having fun each week.

A few quick reminders for our final game day:

Please help us leave the fields clean. If you see trash around your sideline or team area, please help pick it up before leaving.

Please check lost and found before you leave. Anything left after Saturday will be donated to the local DI on Monday.

If your family accidentally ended up with any region soccer balls, pinnies, cones, or other equipment, please give those to your coach so they can be returned with the team equipment.

For our 12U and JH/HS divisions, tomorrow is also Cup day. Thank you to Costa Vida and Domino’s for helping cover food for the winning teams in the 12U Costa Vida Cup and JH/HS Domino’s Cup.

We also want to recognize all of the teams in those divisions. Some teams are playing for the top spot, some are playing to finish strong, and all of them have had players work hard, improve, and compete through the season.

We’ll send a season wrap-up next week and ask for feedback as we start planning for fall.

Opening Day is here and we’re excited to get back out on the fields with all of you.

All games are at the Brigham City Sports Complex. Please check your player’s schedule for game time and field. We’ll have yard signs up for each field and a field map available at the Bowery to help everyone find their way around.

We’ll have equipment pickup at the Bowery from 8:00 to 10:00 AM for anyone who already purchased gear or still needs something. We’ll also have extra gear available while it lasts.

A few quick reminders:
Home team listed first wears red
Away team wears blue
Please arrive about 15 minutes early
Please keep sidelines back far enough so play is not affected
Please pick up trash, water bottles, and gear before you leave
Please drive slowly through the parking lots and watch for kids moving between fields

We also have a lot of youth referees out there this season. They are learning and growing just like the players are, so please help us build them up, be patient, and keep it positive. We cannot do this without them.

Spring rosters and game schedules for the season have all now been posted.

Thank you for your patience while we worked through a couple last issues to get everything finalized. We’re excited to get the season started and have everyone back out on the field.

If you have not heard from your player’s coach yet, please let us know and we’ll help get you connected.

If you have any questions, notice any issues, or are having trouble finding your player’s schedule, please reach out and we’ll help however we can.

A reminder that we have player equipment pickup tonight from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Brigham City Sports Complex.

We’ll also send out a short game day update tomorrow so everyone has the key details before first games Saturday morning.
