We had a small gang today and they picked at Sea Bass and Ling. There were some limits.
The pool winner was:
Bryan Madock, Greenbrook, NJ with a 4LB Sea Bass.
It looks good for the next few days. We read plenty of fish today and picked at them at almost every spot we tried.
We are sailing at 7 AM every day and we also have squid trips on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday night this week
Wednesday sails at 6 PM. Friday and Saturday leave 6:30 PM

Sea Bass - Ling - Flounder - Squid

The big Jamaica is now sailing for a Sea Bass every day at 7 AM and we also have night trips for squid this week.
We have trips for squid sailing 6 PM on Wednesday, and 6:30 PM on Friday and Saturday returning 12:30AM.

Fishing has varied from day-to-day some people get limits of Sea Bass, some getting more ling, and a few winter flounder mixed in.
Recent pool winner:
Humberto Hernandez from Freehold New Jersey with a 4 pound winter flounder.

We have plenty of space available on upcoming trips. Couple of the squid trips were just added so they are wide open. Reserve now.

Sea Bass
Every day this week 7 AM departure.
It looks good for Sunday morning and there’s plenty of space available.
Fishing was very slow today. We read fish everywhere we went, but they just didn’t want to turn on.
We caught some Sea Bass and some ling, but it was not good anywhere.
Hopefully tomorrow they will turn back on
We will be sailing Sunday morning at 7 AM and every day this week right through June 21.

The pool winner was José Luno from Jackson, NJ with a 3 pound Sea Bass.

We also have squid trips scheduled for 6 PM departures on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday night. Saturday night will either be sailing for bluefish or laying depending on what’s biting
Paramount will have a squid trip next Saturday night
Squid fishing has been very good on most of our trips and we will probably be adding more trips through the season.

We also have a Tile Fish trip scheduled for a 10 PM departure on June 28 and there are some spots available.

Everyone on board the big Jamaica is catching plenty of squid on a 6 PM sailing Friday night
There are several large areas of squid and all the boats engaged in squiding are catching them.
It looks good for the rest of the weekend.
The big Jamaica is sailing for Sea-bass and ling on Saturday morning at 7AM and in the afternoon at 4PM -9PM.

We are sailing every day through June 21 for Sea Bass while the season is open
We have an afternoon trip on Saturday from 4 PM until 9 PM
Squid trips on the Jamaica will sail 6 PM Friday, and Sunday
There will also be a squid trip on the Paramount 6 PM Saturday night.

Sea Bass Report * Wednesday

It turned out to be a nice day today. We picked at sea bass again today, with jigs having an edge over bait.
A number of fishermen wound up with a limit. High hooks had in the teens, ORL.
The pool winner was:
Danny Ciaburri from Oak Ridge NJ with a 3.5lb Sea Bass.
It looks good for the weekend and we have plenty of space available on our 7AM departures for Sea Bass.
There is an afternoon trip on Saturday that runs from 4 PM until 9 PM

Squid Trips
We have trips for squid scheduled for a 6PM departure on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.
The Paramount will sail for squid on Saturday
at 6PM for Squid.

We picked at sea bass again today, with jigs continuing to outproduce bait.

Congratulations to our pool winner, Ken Chuang of Stamford, CT, who took top honors with a beautiful 4-pound sea bass. Several anglers caught their limits, and the fishing is shaping up very nicely for tomorrow.
With excellent weather in the forecast and plenty of room onboard, now is a great time to get in on the action.
