My name is Gary Colello, and I bring over 15 years of experience in fitness, coaching, and community-based recreation. I have a Master’s Degree in Athletic Administration, Bachelors Degree in Applied Health Fitness with a Minor in Coaching and Gerontology and am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA CSCS). Mission: To empower individuals through functional fitness that improves st

rength, mobility, and overall health with accessible, personalized training options. We will offer highly adaptable, 45-minute personal and group sessions that fuse functional strength, mobility, and conditioning. June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month.

Some men are carrying battles nobody can see.

At G45, we see firsthand how showing up, moving your body, and being part of a supportive community can make a difference.

You don’t have to do it alone. Come be a part of it, it doesn’t matter if you never worked out before or an elite athlete. You belong here!

Some men wake up every day fighting a war nobody can see —
inside their own mind —
and still show up completely for everyone else.
That kind of strength deserves to be acknowledged.

Because nobody asks him how he's doing. Not really. Not in the way that leaves space for an honest answer. The world hands him a role — provider, protector, problem solver — and then wonders why he never talks about what's happening underneath all of that. He was never taught to. He was taught to carry it. To push through it. To handle it quietly and keep moving.

So he does.

He gets up when it's hard. He shows up when he's empty. He holds everyone else together while privately holding himself by a thread. And because he doesn't collapse — because he keeps functioning — nobody thinks to check on him. Strength becomes its own invisibility cloak.

But functioning is not the same as fine.
Showing up is not the same as okay.

The man who never misses a day,
never complains,
never asks for help —
is sometimes the one who needs it most.

Check on your strong friends.
Check on the men in your life who seem unshakeable.

Ask them how they're really doing —
and then stay quiet long enough
to actually hear the answer.

Strength should never have to mean suffering alone.
Not for anyone.

Over the past four months, Kelly has consistently shown up for G45 training sessions and personal training while working toward her goal of getting stronger and preparing for hiking season.

This month, that hard work paid off.

As Kelly put it:
"Shout out to G45 workouts and PT (Personal Training) sessions with Gary for the past 4 months!! Summiting Mt. Katahdin was such a highlight this month. Strength training and conditioning made all the difference!!! Looking forward to what the results will be by year's end!!"

Last week, Greg summited Mount Lafayette and Mount Lincoln, officially completing all 48 of New Hampshire's 4,000-foot peaks.

Think about that for a moment.

48 mountains. Countless early mornings, changing weather conditions, and challenges along the way.

Achievements like this don't happen by accident. They are built through consistency, discipline, and years of taking care of your body.

At G45, we're proud to have been a small part of Greg's journey. Greg comes to G45 twice a week to keep up on his strength by strength training!

Most people plan for retirement…but never prepare their body for the reality of aging.

The harsh reality is this:
If you do not strength train as you age, there is a very real chance someone else will eventually decide how you live, where you live, and what you are still capable of doing on your own.

Loss of strength becomes loss of balance.
Loss of balance becomes falls.
Falls become hospital visits.
Hospital visits become dependence.
