South Shore Chaos Premier 14U: Softball
South Shore Chaos Premier 14U were crowned the 2026 Cape Cod Showcase Tournament Champions on July 19, 2026. During the single elimination bracket they won all back-to-back games with no rest in amazing unity winning all 6 games played to go 6-0. The incredible feat for the 14U team is that they seemed to get stronger each game and ended with a 11-2 Final 4 win and a 10-0 shutout win in the Championship Finals game that featured the team getting 10 runs on 10 hits and South Shore Chaos Premier 14U pitcher Avery Panek pitching a no-hitter to cap it off.
Final 4 Recap: South Shore Chaos Premier 14U won 11-2 against South Shore Patriots 16U. All 10 batters on offense who played were key in the game. 5 players had a multi- hit game and finished as a team they finished with 13 hits. Riley King had 2 hits (double, single) and 3 RBIs. Gia Giovanello and Gia DiRenzo each had 2 hits and 2 RBIs. Avery Panek had 2 hits (double, single) and 1 RBI. Mia Abren had 2 hits (2 singles). Regan Bryant and Allie Powers each had 1 RBI. Chloe Martin, Kayla Martin and Elliot Moore each had 1 hit. Pitcher Avery Panek pitched all 5 innings allowing only 4 hits, 2 runs and struck out 6 batters to earn the win in the circle. Regan Bryant made multiple plays for outs on defense.
Championship Finals Recap: South Shore Chaos Premier 14U won 10-0 against South Shore Chaos 16U Platinum. Pitcher Avery Panek starred in the circle as she pitched all 5 innings striking out 8 batters and did not allow a hit, walk or run to earn the championship finals win in outstanding form by pitching a no-hit shutout. Avery Panek also added 1 hit (single) and 2 RBIs at bat on offense in the win. Gia Giovanello had 2 hits (double, single) and led with 3 RBIs. Chloe Manning had 2 hits (2 singles) and 2 RBIs. Kayla Martin had 1 hit (single) and 2 RBIs. Mia Abren had 1 RBI. Gia DiRenzo had 1 hit (single) and 2 walks. Riley King had 2 hits (2 singles). Elliot Moore had 1 hit (double). Regan Bryant had 1 walk. Regan Bryant and Kayla Martin converted a double play on defense, and both made multiple plays for outs on defense in the championship game win.

Avery Panek had a hit in all 6 games totaling 8 hits (3 doubles, 5 singles) 1 walk and 4 RBIs with a .444 batting average. Pitching Avery Panek won 3 games including the final 4 and championship game and totaled 17 innings, struck out 26 batters and threw a no-hitter in the championship finals game.
