More repairs have been made to the 125C bridge this morning to make it safe for the remainder of this season. Before next riding season more permanent repairs will be done. Use causation on this trail, as it is southern exposure and the sun is taking its toll on the snow.

We repeat ourselves every year. Signs are visible. Enough is enough.

Hope everyone has un- buried themselves with all the new snow. Members hope to get 125C broken out before the end of the week. This is a tricky trail for novice riders particular if it has not been broken out as it narrow and steep in parts.

With predicted snow accumulations we have opened our gates. Unfortunately we were not able to open them sooner as we had very thin snow cover in our lower elevation trails.

C12 is still closed between US Route 4 and the junction of 125C. Club members and locals had several conversations with the land owner to re open that section to no avail.

The reroute on 125C was completed a few weeks ago.

Enjoy the snow.

Unfortunately we are starting the season off with bad news… To start trails will remain closed opening day due to lack of snow and still trees to clear.
125C is closed until we get a small reroute finished that we just learned about this past weekend that needs to be done. We will update once open.
The big kicker is a section of 12C is closed between the intersection of 125C and the Bridgewater Fire Rescue building. At this time it does not appear that this section of trail will open. Club members have had several conversations with the property owener to no avail. Ramuntoes is still accessible from the South.

Hopefully our next post will be more positive.

As we get our snowmobiles and gear ready for the upcoming VAST snowmobile season, let’s prioritize safety. In case of an emergency, remember to call or text 911. This service is available on mobile devices, even without cell service. Riding Safe is No Accident!

As our trails were really shaping up Mother Nature had other plans. All of our trails are currently closed as of 3-16-25.

Thank you landowners and club volunteers.

Thank you landowners and club volunteers.

As of 1-30-2025 we have opened our remaining gates. Snow coverage is thin in our lower elevations. Our trails have not been groomed and there are hazards such as open water and trees down from our recent wind events. Please ride cautiously and respect our landowners. Enjoy and fingers crossed for more snow and cold temps.

FYI as of 2023 the Bridgewater side of the Barnard Chateauguay is no longer a designated corridor trail, thus why a reroute was built. Recently we had two snowmobiles go up a private driveway off from this road. This will not be tolerated. Please stay on trails.

A few weeks ago the club took delivery of a new drag. The majority of the drag was paid through grant funding from VAST. This drag will be used to groom 12f1 and 125c. Now all we need is some more snow.
