Westport Half Marathon Join us on this fun and challenging 13.1 mile loop through scenic Westport and stay for the awards and post race celebration at Buzzards Bay Brewing.

Join us on this fun and challenging 13.1 loop through scenic Westport, Massachusetts. Enjoy the views as you pass by beautiful old farms, stonewalls and conservation land on your way down Horseneck Road. Take your first right at the ocean and follow the shoreline. Bear right and cross over the water on a bridge to the next right onto Drift Road, a shaded road lined with beautiful homes along the W

estport River. Take a right onto Hixbridge Road and cross over the river and run past the Westport Rivers Vineyard and Winery. Take the next right to the finish line and the after party beyond at Buzzards Bay Brewing, where you can enjoy food and beverages while listening to live music. Sound good?

We regret to inform you that we will not be holding the Westport Half Marathon this year. Since last year's race finished, we have been working to make some necessary changes and improvements for this event and its future. Taking this year off is unfortunate but essential to ensure that we have everything in place and are able to put on the kind of race you have come to expect. We'll miss everyone who planned to run with us in September and hope to see you all at another start line soon!

The kind folks from the Mobile Missions food truck in New Bedford happily took in hundreds of bananas from yesterday's race to support their mission of serving those in need within the local community.

As we close out a busy first early bib pick-up tonight at the Mansfield Marathon Sports, we want to remind everyone we will be hosting a second early bib pick-up Friday from 4pm to 6pm at White's of Westport. If you haven't signed up yet, online registration will remain open through 1pm on Friday.

Please note: Walk-up registration will not be offered the morning of the race, but you can sign up in person during early bib pick-up.

In addition to sponsoring the Westport Babe Ruth League, the Westport Half Marathon also donates to the Westport Land Conservation Trust. As part of our fundraising we are offering a Gym Bag Raffle which will be drawn during the awards after the race. The Northeast Race Management, LLC gym bag will be filled with Westport Half race swag, Buzzards Bay Brewing swag and NRM swag, as well as gift certificates to U.S. Rafting, Ten Cousins Brick Oven, Bittersweet Farm and White's of Westport. Oh, and a free entry for the 5th Annual Westport Half Marathon! For every $5 donated either through online registration, in person at bib pickup or the morning of the race, you will get one chance to win. Best of luck!
