In the highlight reel of every South Fayette Baseball and Softball Player's career, there is a special place for Morgan Park.

It's where it all begins - it's where we spend our weeknights and our weekends. It's where we spend the Spring when it feels like Fall. It's where we spend the Fall when it still feels like Spring. It's where we bake in the sun during our home tournaments but still find it hard to actually go home.

It's where feral siblings take their snacks back to the creek, on the playground - and everywhere in between. It's where we find ourselves, many times, despite not actually having a game - because we just want to be there.

Morgan Park is the center of our baseball and softball community's orbit in those early years, when we are just learning to love the game.

It only makes sense that our graduating Senior players would come back to Morgan Park for Recognition Night last night. It is, of course, where it all began.

As every parent knows, we'll blink and today's little Tee Ballers will be back for a Senior Recognition night of their own.

Congratulations to our graduating Lions.
Wherever life takes you - we’ll always have our memories of Morgan Park.

Join us for one of the most special evenings of the year as we celebrate the players who represent the past, present, and future of South Fayette Baseball & Softball.

Our Youth Recognition Night will honor our youngest players, while our "Where It All Began" Senior Recognition Ceremony will recognize the graduating seniors who once stood in those same shoes and began their journeys on these very fields.

This is a night to truly Unleash the Pride of South Fayette Baseball & Softball!

All youth players should report to their designated field no later than 5:15 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM.

Following the ceremony, championship action takes center stage at 6:30 PM:

Coach Pitch Baseball Championship Game — Morgan C
Kid Pitch Baseball Championship Game — Morgan A

The SFBSA Pony League Recognition night was a hit! A very special thank you goes out to our Baseball Commissioner, Dan Riggio, for all of his hard work in coordinating this event. The SFBSA would also like to thank Lisa Radicic for her assistance with the event. And finally, thank you to our departing Pony Leaguers for repping the Kelly green and white for all of these years. We wish you nothing but continued success on the ball field and in all you do.

Nothing quite reminds you how precious time is like the end of one baseball season - and the beginning of a new one.

Tonight, our Pony League players are marking the end of an era - but not the end of their story. They've come a long way since the days of T-ball at Morgan! While the level of play and the fields may change - we hope their love of the game never does.

Congratulations to the Pony League Class of 2026! We wish you continued success - and remember - all it takes in baseball is all you've got.🦁 💚🤍

It's Recognition Week! We kick things off with our Pony League Recognition Night this Monday at 5:30 at Fairview A Field. Join us for a fun night!

The SFBSA extends its sincere gratitude and appreciation to Chris Dufort for taking the lead on a tremendous improvement project at the Fairview A Field equipment shed. Alongside fellow volunteers Bill Kuzmich, Leo Vighetti, and Kaelon Egan, this crew dedicated more than 24 hours of labor to transform the facility into a clean, organized, and highly functional space for our players, coaches, and volunteers.

Their commitment to improving our association was nothing short of remarkable. Over the course of the project, the team:

• Completely cleaned, organized, and re-organized the entire equipment shed
• Edged and cleaned up the grass surrounding the exterior of the building
• Installed 32 feet of Gladiator GearTrack storage system
• Installed 16 storage hooks and a Gladiator storage shelf
• Tuned up and serviced the field mower
• Replaced the garage door seal
• Labeled and organized all equipment and storage locations
• Installed a floor-mounted safety stop for the golf cart
• Purchased a new 100-foot extension cord
• Purchased and stocked six cans of white line field paint
• Reorganized and consolidated the white chalk inventory

The results are outstanding and will benefit the SFBSA for years to come. Projects like this are a perfect example of what makes our organization special: volunteers who generously give their time, energy, and expertise to make our facilities better for everyone.
